Light clear gold color with very small white head and little oily lacing. Aroma is weak- light citrusy notes- not much of anything. Flavor is weak- just a hint of bitter hops. Super bland- nothing too it. This is fresh too- only 2 weeks old. ansermadide (1526) - Kyle, Texas, USA - APR 15, 2013
Yowzers, look at those stats! This is my kind of Imperial IPA. Light amber in color with a very bright, off white-head, this wickedly awesome brew has a very potent aroma hinting of high alcohol and sticky-sweet hops. It’s simply amazing. The flavor is of high alcohol and intense, crystallized sugars - a combination that leaves a delectable stickiness on the lips. Very oily hops rule this beer and the palate, making for an acute, incredible, sweet, awesome, delicious IPA. It has a dense thinness to it much like as with a distilled beverage, warning you of its alcoholic content and requiring your respect. This is really a beautiful beer and very deserving of my respect. riversideAK (6265) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - MAR 29, 2013
Nose of aged hops citrus bland boringness. Golden pour thin head. Flavors of stale hops bitter w not much character. Pale aged malt and alcohol burn. Probably could have been fresher. Burny alcohol. Hoptagon (239) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - MAR 22, 2013
Bomber bottled on 03.01.13. Pours a bright gold color with a lingering white head. Aroma is powerful with lots of grapefruit and floral citrus notes. Nice bitterness to mask the high alcohol content. Large amount of caramel malt, but it does not get cloying or overly sweet. Dry alcohol heat is present in the background, but does not become distracting. High carbonation and a resinous palate. Not the best I have ever tried, but a really decent effort overall at a big IPA. anders37 (27667) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAR 19, 2013

Poured out of a bomber, and shared with friends. Surprisingly light in color and strong in flavor. Good body and aroma.

$9.99 bomber bottled 2/15/13 from OB Quik Stop yesterday. Clear yellow amber with a small off-white head, fading to a thick ring rather quickly, but the ring stayed a while. Dominant pine and floral hops up front in with spicy woody hops behind. A pretty good dose of sweet caramel malt backing a light dry alcohol burn. Less pine and more floral notes as it warmed. Flavor still has a lot of caramel malt, almost bordering on me thinking it’s got diacetyl, but it doesn’t. Actually doesn’t get too sweet at any point though, thanks to the high ABV. Dry finish, moderate alcohol--more the flavor than the burn--, bitterness peaked at an 8. Got a nice fruity dry hop note as it warmed.Low carbonation with a medium full body. Better than I expected, as I’m not a big fan of Chinook, but I like Simtra better. matthewjk (1138) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 5, 2013
1st try from Knee Deep (Whole Foods Pic) - 220z bomb’er to suitable glass. Super piney and grapefruit assault! You know what? I don’t think I’ve encountered a brew that can hide 11.3% ABV any better! By damn, this thing will knock you out faster than Mike Tyson if you are not careful. More than respectable DIPA that deserves a taste. whicheck (82) - California, USA - MAR 1, 2013
Nice clean smell. Hops up front are very strong which I like and expect from knee deep.. clean good hopiness. kennydiaz (362) - Manahawkin, New Jersey, USA - MAR 1, 2013
