Bright clear gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Nose of pine and resin. Palate is light and semi dry, good fine carbonation. Light malt base with equally light sweetness. Big hop spice. Resinous orange, marmalade, mild lemon. More hop spice. Touch of crystallised fruits. More hops spice. Tropical fruits emerge. More hop spice. Light hop skunk before light and hop spicy finish. Spicy tangerine linger. It’s a real gob full of spicy hop goodness but it always stays light and supremely drinkable. Hides the abv very well. Excellent.

Clear amber color, bright, small head. Strange feeling, the aroma of resiny hops is so strong that it becomes almost nutty (hazelnuts), and manure. Full bodied, with round mouthfeel and some flavor of crystal, but not thick or sticky, luckily; strong flavor, with powerful hopping, mostly resiny, piney, and very moderate fruitiness. Long and extreme final.
22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a medium off-white head. Aroma of piney hops, a little buttery hops, and a slight fruitiness. Flavour is very sharp, full of soapy floral hops, a little dry pine, and dry biscuity malt. This is quite sharp and astringent, finishing on harsh soapy floral hops. Super dry and quite drinkable. Very solid IPA.

Bottle. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Nose is fantastic - lots of mango, tropical fruits and caramel malt with hints of perfumy hops. Taste is not good at all. Tons of cologne and perfume with some tiny semblance of IPA somewhere. Almost straight up cologne in the finish. Really disappointing. Body on the lighter side of medium for a triple IPA. If it wasn’t for the nose this would be closer to a 2.1-2.2 rating. brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 31, 2012
Pours a light amber with a white head. Fairly sweet in the nose, a bit of caramel, some toffee, moderate pine, and some citrus. Citrus is mostly tangerine with a light grapefruit. Kind of harsh on the palate. Pine, mild grapefruit, and some floral notes. Somewhat abrasive on the bitterness. Not as sweet on the palate as I expected, but some toffee and caramel notes. Just kind of meh. Ferris (15906) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 26, 2013
Bottle - Huge pine nose with some sweetness and citrus. C;ear orange with a thick white head. Lots of cirtus and pine, some alcohol heat, but a nice sweetness to balance. Rich on the palate, without a annoying cloying finish. Just really nice. bhensonb (15353) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 22, 2012
Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours light amber gold with a foamy beige head. Aroma is heavily citrus/pine. A little lightly roasted malt for backbone. Med+ body. Flavor is harsh resin/citrus hop over a hardly noticeable malt. The caramel does come out a bit after the hop seeps away. The hop is heavy NW burn. Likely the hoppiest beer ever out of Sacramento. The bar is raised! Ratman197 (14976) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - FEB 14, 2013
Bomber poured a clear golden amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of tangeine, bread, tropical fruit, pink grapefuit and light mint. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, grapefruit, pine and light orange zest with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.
