on tap at Yardhouse at Palisades Center in Nyack, NY; gold to light amber color; great citrusy hop aroma; great citrusy hop flavor with light erbal notes; medium bodied bready malt base; dry, bitter, hoppy finish; very well balanced for such a hop heavy beer; easy drinking for 9% abv

BOTTLE. Clear yellow to gold colour with small lingering head.. Fresh earthy hops going to big malty nose.. Strong sappy hops upfront that is balanced well with a good somewhat sweet malt backbone, hides the ABV well.. Sourced Dutch Trading Co

Gluepot (632) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 11, 2015
A soft bready malt and citrus nose on an amber body with a fluffy white head. Less going on here than expected, and this is a pretty fresh bottle. taste profile is soft citrus hops, some candied fruit and bready malt. Ultimately the fruity hops dissipate pretty quickly leaving malt and a touch of bitterness. Odd for 102 IBUs and 9% ABV.

Several glasses, with friends to help, over 3wks consumed off of a 5 gallon keg in my posession. Kept on 6psi co2 at 31dg. Poured into a room temperature thick bottom pilsner glass. This is one of the best "double" ipa beers available widely in northern California. Pours Sun gold with fine white foamy head that quickly laces the glass as it dissipates. Nose of pineapple, dank aroma hops, and ethanol, with yeast esters to follow. Taste is maltahol (this is a good thing) with plenty of clean/fresh hops that build for 2-3 seconds as it washes across the toungue. Minimal astringency, upper range ABV, and slightly sweet malt/bread flavor keeps the hops from building up on the palate, which give a suprisingly crisp and clean finish for a beer listed as bitter.

Slightly hazy amber color with medium white head. Aroma has sweet malts, strong citrus fruits, pine, resin and floral hops. Taste follows the aroma, very citrusy, with sweet malts, resin, caramel, pine, grass, peach and grapefruit. Bitter aftertaste.

AirForceHops (7144) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 24, 2015
22 oz. bottle, no date coding. Golden orange in color with thin lasting head. Aroma has sweet malt followed by mild citrus with low pine resin.

Flavor has initial sweetness then transitions into a lingering grassy hops in the center. The finish has a lasting pine bite that lingers well after the swallow. Biting bitterness that has a malty sweet base. I could see this turning to sweet if it sat awhile. Right now the hops are hitting pretty good. Enjoyable fresh which this clearly is.
