Bomber from Corti Bros. in Sacramento, CA. Pours lightish gold with a transient fizzy white head. Aroma is wheat with a little hard to distinguish fruit. A bit acidic. Med body with foamy carb. The flavor is wheat, with a little pineapple, then it finishes with a huge burst of that acidic pineapple finish - which lingers on. Oddly the flavor is in the finish rather than the beginning. Interesting stuff. Hop seems lost in the surf. Finishes pretty dry, acidic and astringent. The effect is not unlike having eaten fresh, not quite ripe pineapple. Pool drink! slowrunner77 (12594) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 26, 2014
"eh. a bit of an older sample, but it’s on the shelf in the store (though a summer/fall offering). i like the idea of pineapple in a hefe, but Maui did it better for less. nice enough, but nothin stands out." BVery (11238) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - SEP 24, 2011
Bottle at Minneapolis Beer Fest. Light yellow pour, small white head. Aroma and taste was mostly wheat with hints of pineapple. Was hoping this would be better than it was. marcus (10575) - Sacramento, California, USA - AUG 21, 2011
Bottle from Total Wine, Roseville. Pours cloudy yellow with a nice white head and a fruity aroma. There is a slightly tart wheat flavor with a noticeable pineapple taste. Not bad for a fruit beer. BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - DEC 24, 2011
Bottle. Pours with a mostly clear pale yellow body with a large white head of foam with somewhat pour retention. Flavors are grassy, grainy, citric acid, pineapple, apple esters. Aroma is very similar to cheap champagne (or sparkling wine to be honest). Flavors of canned and somewhat waxy pineapple, grainy, with lots of esters (mainly apple). Lively bubbles and thin. Dry. Not much here.

Bomber from Hayduke. We enjoyed it together via facebook chat. This was filtered and no sediment or yeast to be found and the beer was clear golden. A big white head fell at a decent pace. Both the nose and flavor was wheat and pineapple. Hops were definitely light and added a bit of brightness and a tinge of bitterness. Just a hint of wheat. Wheat and pineapple are the story here. The pineapple was a different take on the wheat fruit theme and it is nice. It works pretty well. It is nice. An uncomplicated lawn mowing beer. Bottle. Clear golden color/ lasting white sheen. Big citrusy pineapple, tart lemon, pale bready wheat aromas. Light smooth mouthfeel. Bready pale wheat flavors with sweet tart pineapple, spicy black peppercorn-- joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - APR 1, 2012
22 oz bottle. It pours a very nice clear golden yellow with a decent white head. The aroma has a nice balance of fresh wheat, pineapple and honeydew. The flavor is refreshingly tart with some mouthwatering pineapple and a good bready wheat base. Almost a tad spicy with really nice wheat malt and mild hop in the finish. There’s some mild fruity tartness and almost a pinot grigio like character to this beer. I was skeptical with this concept especially since I haven’t had much luck with bottles from this brewer, but this was a resounding success. One of the best fruit/wheat beers I’ve had. hayduke (5619) - Eureka, California, USA - AUG 16, 2012
Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. This wheat/fruit beer pours a very clear light orange color with a big white head and almost no lacing. The nose is wheat with some pineapple and just a hint of floral hops. Medium plus in body it has that sticky wheat character in the mouth. The flavor is mostly wheat with a reasonable amount of pineapple. The pineapple is even more pronounced in the finish which also shows a dry tartness. This a better than average fruit beer and really easy drinking. A perfect summer beer. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - FEB 28, 2012
Sampled on 2/28/2012. This fruit beer pours a light orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, sweet, pineapple and spicy. A medium to light bodied fruit beer. The malts are cereal, wheaty and sweet. With a very semi-sweet, semi-tart pineapple flavor. The hops are herbal and spicy. Decent carbonation. Interesting beer. The pineapple flavors bring a tartness and sweetness to the wheat beer. The pineapple flavor is much more evident in the finish. Gives the beer a nice dry, slightly tart finish. Its more saison or wheat like than wheat like. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean, crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly tart.
