2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Citrus and stone fruit flavors with a bit of pine. Nose is a bit more floral than citrus. Some carmel notes also are present. Not a great IPA but not a bad one either.
""A big juicy explosion of citrusy hop goodness that lingers on the palate and in the nose after it’s gone. The second beer tried from a very promising local upstart brewery (currently brewing at Tallac and other semi-local breweries while they get established and create demand). Based on this beer, that won’t take long. still good, but not AS good in production." "

Yellow-orange pour with a white head. The aroma is full of pine, orange, perfume and biscuit malt. The flavor is similar. I get a lot of orange and pine notes as well as some toffee and biscuit malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Fatehunter (2567) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - AUG 2, 2013
Poured minimal head on a clear, dark straw colored body.
The aroma is a nice mixture of pine and lemon.
The taste is sweet malt with moderate bitterness coming in second. Finishes with a dry bitter.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
A nice drink, but a little on the sweet side. Beergeek23322 (2602) - Chester, Virginia, USA - JUN 23, 2013

A very good ipa umich03jm (3513) - Flat Rock, Michigan, USA - MAR 20, 2013
Bomber. Pours a clear golden orange color with a small head that fades normally. Powerful pine and floral aroma, some malt and lemon citrus too. Taste is a tad harsh with strong up front bitterness and very little sweetness. But I always like piney and floral IPA’s and this doesn’t disappoint with that. Pretty sold malt backbone too. Thick mouthfeel for an IPA. Overall pretty solid but there are better options that don’t have the harshness. maekchu (3911) - Hirakata, JAPAN - FEB 23, 2013
Bottle. Strong hoppy grapefruit aroma. Medium straw color. Slightly harsh citrusy initial / some malt comes through in mid palate, but mosty more strong hops / a somewhat scratchy hop finish. Medium body. Hop & malt balance is not quite there. Okay. b3shine (8872) - Indiana, USA - FEB 12, 2013
Bomber to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; malty though. A semi-transparent orangish-brown with foamy off-white lacing. Smells of bitter hops with a malty, boozy backbone. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Decent, but maltier than I generally prefer. nimbleprop (8382) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - JAN 19, 2013
