COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Double IPA includes Mosaic and Simcoe hops, South American specialty malt, and tons of tastiness. Looks like liquid gold, smells like a bright tropical fruit pine forest, and tastes like all that and more.

I bought this hoping that it would be a Lupulin powder IPA brewed in the west coast style, so I could contrast it with the Lupulin powder New England style IPAs I have had from Richmond breweries. Im not at all sure if this is brewed with the powder, it isnt that similar to others Ive had, but it does have a hint of that honey sweetness on the aroma and the flavor. It pours very clear yellow with a lot of foam. The aroma is mostly mild and rich, but the flavor brings some big, bright, West Coast style bitterness through the finish. Not exactly what Id hoped for, but still tasty.

From a 12 oz bottle into a New Belgium tulip glass. Pours gold with head and lace. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, grains, pale malt, slight pineapple. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of straw hops, grains, pale malts, bitter herbs, grapefruit rind, minerals. Overall big, bold, rough and rowdy!

On tap at Twisted Jimmys. Apricot and Hawaiian Punch, sweet and musky. Medium amber clear with creamy off-white lacing head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Moderate sweet, great hop character, tropical fruits with big bitterness. Pine resin, ozone. Bitter finish with moderate sweet after. Nice IPA.

Pour out of bottle, clear golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of spice, pine, grass, hints of yeast into a bit of biscuit, slight lemon. Taste was a mix of tropical fruit, orange, some pine, grass into a bit of spice, slight bread, finishing slightly bitter, dry.

Golden color with a white head. Brilliant fresh hop aroma with citrus, pine, and hop resin. Medium-full body. Really fresh hop flavor profile. Deceptively smooth for the 8% ABV.

Tap: Clear golden straw. Excellent head and lace. Very lifted citrus with a little pine and some lantana. Clean and fresh. Palate is soft, off dry and rich. Bitter but balanced. Full mouthfeel. Not great but a pretty impressive DIPA.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a dark golden color with a large foamy white head that lingered and left excellent lacing. The aroma was tart cactus and pine. The flavor was tangy and sweet with cactus and pine but had an odd and off presence I could not identify. Long finish. Full bodied. Ok.

This was a friggin awesome double IPA on draft at the Unos in Oaks, PA. The beer poured a golden color with a super lacy white head. The flavors were damn near perfect, with prickly and spicy hops and notes of grapefruit, lemon, pepper, orange and light grass. There was just enough of a bready / cereal malt flavor for balance and backbone. The finish was full of dry hops, herbs and spices. This was an absolutely, deliciously fantastic beer!
