This is great. Pours slightly murky light brown lots of head and lacing. Nose is a punch of bitter citrus. Flavours are grapefruit, some cereal, lots of earthy notes as well. Tastes med/big bitter light sweet. Full sticky body long dry bitter finish. Gription79 (2887) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - OCT 11, 2014
Catty, pine, noticeable oxidation, caramel/sugary, sweet and slightly cloying. The balance is sugary sweet, this beer is not for me. mR_fr0g (11918) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 10, 2014
Big bottle at home shared with Sarah. Picked up from Beer:shop St Albans. Aroma is candied hops, caramel malts, some orange peel and hop leaf. Some solvent on the nose as well. Clear golden / orange coloured pour with a lasting creamy off white head. Flavour is caramel / biscuity malts with big leafy, piney hop resin. Aggressive semi smooth buttering hop with a bit of harsh alpine needles and solvent in the finish. Palate is semi full, moderate carbonation and sticky resin on the tongue. Big bold beer. Bit harsh in the finish. I really struggled to get through the glass. Just too boozy and harsh. monk191 (1959) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 9, 2014
A nice boozy tripel IPA. Pours an ugly pee yellow. Smells of hops, citrus and grapefruit. Taste is very hoppy all around, with lots of grapefruit and a sweetness in the finish. Had on tap at Hopmonk. spacemonster (90) - Igo, California, USA - OCT 1, 2014
UPDATED: OCT 29, 2014 The nose of this thing is really furiously yummy. hops and a dank bubblegum after a small fizzy white thin head. who would guess otherwise w/a 11.5 % monster. fruity esters and more citra hops. taste follows the nose. Bold hop assault but very clean. very clean. The excellent carbonation keeps things very tidy. some buttery biscuit bread notes from the yeast. A wonderful triple IPA. easily the best in it’s class i’ve ever tasted. clean and well carbonated and although you can taste some booze it’s well masked or rather this is excellently brewed and thats the best part of this, you can taste the care that went into the mix. very very highly recommended.

Cloudy, copper-hued, juicy sweet grapefruit and hops resin. The palate is sticky, moderate, and the carbonation just right I love this beer! I love this beer. Thank you again, Knee Deep!

Piney, hoppy, and a bit boozy but the flavor is there to match the alcohol. Highly recommended CelticBrew (912) - The Crystal Coast, North Carolina, USA - SEP 28, 2014
Poured from bomber a nice hazy, golden hay hue. Aroma is citrus, orange zest, grapefruit, tropical fruits, pine resin, crystal malt, simcoe and citra hops. The flavour is pleasingly hoppy, creating a sweet orange hard candy sensation along side of resiny pine bitterness, along with a particular field grass hint. Midway the bitterness really ramps up and into the finish it gives way to hints of biscuit malts and caramel malts. An excellent beer with a serious punch. thornecb (5883) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - SEP 27, 2014
Pours deep amber into a snifter. Off-white head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Alcohol, resin and tropical fruit aromas. Hot caramel and mild resin front to back. Lasting alcohol finish. slowrunner77 (11938) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 25, 2014
"this one’s been winning awards left and right, and i can see why. reminiscent of a Maharaja. aroma of weed, citrus, a touch of pine and a good dose of tropical fruit. flavor the same with an ample dose of bitterness and a nice, fairly clean bittersweet finish. medium bodied and a touch sticky. quite good. i wish i could count on their beer being fresh. This score reflects fresh only. Dated bottles as of 1/13."
