UPDATED: OCT 26, 2014 A focused, piney cone of hops hits the palate with a big burst, but sugar and alcohol overwhelm with a long, cloying finish. OldGrowth (3474) - the Containment Area, North Carolina, USA - AUG 13, 2014
10 oz pour at Ruckus Pizza Morrisville. Good aroma sweet. Fruity and alcohol. Citrus. Grapefruit and orange, some pine. Abv makes it harsh. Clean golden orange color. Ok head and lace. Bitter sweet flavor. Thick body oily creamy mouthfeel. Bitter sweet finish. It’s good, but for me, the high abb detracts from the overall experience. Make it a harsh scent and flavor. It’s good, but this triple ipa category gets to be s bit much. HomerBeerOdysy (103) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 12, 2014
APPEARANCE - Clear yellow with a 1-finger off-white head that dissipates. Some lacing
SMELL/AROMA/SCENT - Piney, sweet, fresh fruit.
TASTE - Nice and bitter, piney, not sweet. High ABV very well-hidden.
MOUTHFEEL/PALATE/TEXTURE - smooth, soft, not syrupy. Good carbonation.
OVERALL/DRINKABILITY - Good beer, as mild as a Pilsner. Definitely chuggable. mansquito (6437) - Nueva York, New York, USA - AUG 10, 2014
The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours copper with a white head. Aroma is a massive helping of citrus and pine. Malt backbone is, however, also evident. Feels like you are drinking hop oil, given the texture. That said, this is still very drinkable considering its large size. Not overly bitter. Also not overly sweet. Surprisingly well mixed considering its triple IPA status (if that is even a style...). smith4498 (3646) - Winter Springs, Florida, USA - AUG 9, 2014
Bottle shared by Ely. Pours dark orange/amber color with off white head. Floral, citrus and pine aromas. Sweet caramel and citrus hop flavors with moderate bitterness and some booziness. Medium to full body with average carbonation.

One to be enjoyed in small doses due to the strength, but definitely worth trying. Small glass at a beer festival. RussianDragon (578) - - JUL 30, 2014
22 oz bottle from Blackwell’s. Pours a slightly hazy soft orange color with white head that gradually fades to a thin wisp with lacing. Aroma is sweet fruit with dank hops and citrus sweetness, particularly grapefruit. Flavor is sweet malt with dank bitterness as an afterthought. Alcohol is very prominent, and slightly distracting from an otherwise enjoyable flavor profile. Thin to medium bodied with full, bright carbonation. Sweet complex finish. The beer is a murky yellow / orange with a soapy white head. Aromas of dank hops, resin, alcohol, pine. Sticky and sweet. Like sucking on a hopsicle. See what I did there? Aww yeah. Full bodied and palate coating. Certainly hop forward, but there is definitely a strong malt bill and noticeably above 10% abv. Full flavored. One could get f’d up right quick sippin’ on Simtra. Tasty. digrod (138) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 29, 2014
Poured into IPA glass from bottle. Hazy golden color. Aromas of spice, various fruit, pine, and oak. Flavors of the same plus caramel, molasses, and plantains. Initially sweet with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Dangerously smooth for 11.25%. Well done. Defreni (3222) - Husum, DENMARK - JUL 29, 2014
Flaske: Orange klar øl med et flot skumhoved. Duft af humle, tropisk frugt og citrus. Smagen er frisk selvom den indeholder et dejligt alkobid. Super lækker øl.
