Pours a very pretty and bright hazy straw blonde with a white head. Nose is very bright and lively, lots of citrus and floral notes with some leafy and ephemeral pine. A touch of alcohol and dank. Strong flavor and a bit muddled. Slightly oily hop feel in the flavor and mouth. A little bit of heat. Moderately bitter with citrus rind and pine resin. Bomber given to me by a friend for my birthday. Packaged 06/13/14 so he got it relatively fresh. Pours a very clear orange with a good white head that sticks around. I was reading the other reviews, and this is obviously not the best batch. This one is laced with diacetyl. It completely overpowers the majority of the hop character. Slick, buttery mouthfeel. I’m glad I’m not the only asshole here mentioning diacetyl. Would definitely like to try it again. drsandman (1672) - New York, USA - AUG 25, 2014
On tap @ Pony Bar, seemed nice & fresh. Pours a clear orange / light amber, small white head. Aroma is orange, sweet candied fruits, pine hop, sugar, light booze, citra hop. Flavor is fairly sweet & bitter well balanced, slightly boozy on back end but really solid. Big sweet, med body, light carbonation.

65cl, new exclusive American brew Anno 2012, thx alot to Secret Santa!, very complex bitter brew, bitter/fruity and slightly spicy/malty, yet not too heavy, balanced, clear, rocky head, very good brew, yet expensive! BlackHaddock (7957) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - AUG 20, 2014
On-tap in the Seal Beach outlet of Beachwood BBQ on 15th July 2014. Slight haze to my golden pour, the head a steady white crown. Citrus hop notes hit the nose and mouth, almost sharp flavour at first. Thought the alcohol was not hidden too well compared to other Triple IPA’s or beers with similar ABV that ooze hoppiness. I did however enjoy this beer.

UPDATED: OCT 26, 2014 A focused, piney cone of hops hits the palate with a big burst, but sugar and alcohol overwhelm with a long, cloying finish. OldGrowth (3665) - the Containment Area, North Carolina, USA - AUG 13, 2014
10 oz pour at Ruckus Pizza Morrisville. Good aroma sweet. Fruity and alcohol. Citrus. Grapefruit and orange, some pine. Abv makes it harsh. Clean golden orange color. Ok head and lace. Bitter sweet flavor. Thick body oily creamy mouthfeel. Bitter sweet finish. It’s good, but for me, the high abb detracts from the overall experience. Make it a harsh scent and flavor. It’s good, but this triple ipa category gets to be s bit much. HomerBeerOdysy (103) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 12, 2014
APPEARANCE - Clear yellow with a 1-finger off-white head that dissipates. Some lacing
SMELL/AROMA/SCENT - Piney, sweet, fresh fruit.
TASTE - Nice and bitter, piney, not sweet. High ABV very well-hidden.
MOUTHFEEL/PALATE/TEXTURE - smooth, soft, not syrupy. Good carbonation.
OVERALL/DRINKABILITY - Good beer, as mild as a Pilsner. Definitely chuggable. mansquito (7130) - Nueva York, New York, USA - AUG 10, 2014
The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours copper with a white head. Aroma is a massive helping of citrus and pine. Malt backbone is, however, also evident. Feels like you are drinking hop oil, given the texture. That said, this is still very drinkable considering its large size. Not overly bitter. Also not overly sweet. Surprisingly well mixed considering its triple IPA status (if that is even a style...). smith4498 (3697) - Winter Springs, Florida, USA - AUG 9, 2014
Bottle shared by Ely. Pours dark orange/amber color with off white head. Floral, citrus and pine aromas. Sweet caramel and citrus hop flavors with moderate bitterness and some booziness. Medium to full body with average carbonation.
