Nocturne (1992) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - JUL 3, 2014
650ml bottle. Bottled in April so about as fresh as an import to Europe is going to be. Pours a hazy shade between gold and amber with a lovely white head and lace. Nose is bursting with peach fruitiness and grassy notes. More citra than simcoe perhaps. Opening with some fruity sweetness before bitterness takes hold. Hint of herbalness. Really doesn’t feel like nearly 12%. Solid stuff without being overwhelming. zimbo (961) - SCOTLAND - JUN 18, 2014
Despite assertions that I truly am an old school type of beer drinker I am an absolute high octane Triple IPA whore. And this delivers the goods. Nice big evergreen nose and crystalline orange golden colour. Sort of a muted slow chalky start which leads to a super juicy bitter middle which goes on and on. Good carb and intensity with wicked potency. Love it. There is no better style. matthewjk (1101) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 17, 2014
Wow, this thing is pretty over-the-top! Lots of pine and spruce in your face! There may be some turpentine in there too! This is a high-octane hop fest! I like it! Just on the verge of the ABV becoming unmanageable. italianjohn (3133) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 15, 2014
UPDATED: SEP 22, 2015 Bottles 3/24/14 Hazy golden orange pour thin creamy soapy white head with light sticky lacing .... Aroma of piney and grapefruity hops with a caramel malt and rindy grapefruit ... Taste is of piney, grapefruity hops and a bit boozy with caramel malts, very bitter and high on the Ibus .... Has a lingering bitter piney bite and rindy bitter goodness .... Solid stuff .... 8/20/15 fresher than the first time I had it last year .... Rindy and more pine in the mouthfeel and the ibu’s are much more intense .... Finish is one long lingering bitter dry hopped bite Ed5388 (3478) - Forked River, New Jersey, USA - JUN 12, 2014
22oz bomber shared by Dan P. Pours a clear golden orange color with a small foamy off white head. Aroma of caramel malt, sweet citrus and tropical fruit. Nose is super fruity. Taste mimics the nose. Really citrusy and tropical. Not boozy at all. Really solid!

Bomber. I don’t see any possible way a beer that is 11.3% (as per the bottle) with Simcoe and Citra could be bad. Just thought I should get that out of the way. Pours a light orangish gold with a decent head and aromas of ABV, fruit and resin. The nose was much more available at the onset, but it seems to burn off as this one airs or something. Flavor is boozy and hoppy. Darn nice. Lots of ABV warmth on the back end and a nicely balanced huge beer. tmongoose (2504) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAY 21, 2014
bomber shared poured a darkish orange color with white head. the aroma of malt and hops nicely balanced on the nose. the flavor has a medium malt backbone and solid hop nose...for a triple its not overly bitter and the alcohol is very well hidden and I believe the ibu’s was like 132 or something like that...I think once over a 100 its all speculative but this was an impressive beer. well done. manuchampions (1244) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 13, 2014
Pours a very light yellowish gold, extremely clear with a light cap of off white head. Aroma is quite floral, lemony hops. Taste is vibrantly hoppy, wonderfully fresh. Extremely layered hop notes of lemon, citrus, resinous. Malt punches through the hop assault near the finish. Beautiful beer and the alcohol, though slightly warming, is not overwhelming and well integrated. IrishBoy (4199) - Bakersfield, California, USA - MAY 12, 2014
Bomber from GM Liquors. Nose is mango, pineapple, hibiscus, and light pine. Clear amber with a bigger heavy lacing, beige head. Flavor is tropical fruity and light bitter with some lighter resinous flavor. Theydon_Bois (19490) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 3, 2014
Bottle at home, from the Best Damn Beer Shop, 03/05/14.
Almost clear golden amber with a moderate off white head that stays for the show.
Nose is bitter hops, pine, caramel malt, orange pith, tangerine.
Taste comprises caramel malt, bitter hops, grapefruit, dank tones, pine bite, boozey punch, light perfumed notes.
Fullish body, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close laced with booze.
Ok DIPA but not to draw, just a little overly boozey, the 11% is pretty evident.
