Aroma is full of citra aroma and a certain dankness that hits the nostrils. The appearance is a wonderful golden/orange color that has a small head that linger for a short time then goes away leaving lacing on top of the beer and on the glass. The taste is not quite as good as the aroma and appearance. My first thought is that in order to reach this alcohol content they left some hops in the fermenter for too long and it gives off a grassy note that is not very flattering for a beer with citra in it. It is a good beer but the off notes in the finish keep it from being a favorite. I actually prefer hoptologist from them to this beer.
UPDATED: JUN 21, 2017 Bottle poured into a tulip glass. Pours clear gold with a small fizzy white head. Aroma is huge and full of lemon, grapefruit, mango, and pine. Initial taste is pine, earthy, oak aged bourbon, with a hint of citrus underneath. Aftertaste is still very earthy with a hint of biscuit and pine resin. Full body and just enough carbonation. Alcohol is hidden pretty well and leaves a nice warming. Very good stuff. Almost like a bigger version of their Imperial IPA. MadRobin (2988) - Silver Spring, Alabama, USA - JUN 16, 2017

Bottle from Titans, served in my IPA glass. Crystal clear beautiful copper in color with an insanely hoppy bouquet featuring tons of tropical fruits. Medium bodied with a slightly scratchy carbonation. The taste is bitter woodsy pine, sweet sirupy malts and hugely fruity hops. For such a high ABV it is much less boozzy than I expected though it does have some heat to it. Really good. Spab (3785) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 2, 2017
650 ml bottle from Canada Craft Club. Pours a clear golden orange colour with moderate-sized, creamy white head. Aroma is big danky, citric hops with some vinous character and a little booze. Flavour is huge, dank citric hops, some vinous white wine character, light grains and some booziness. Big body. Impressive. Fred82 (2315) - Québec City, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 26, 2017
Pale yellow small head. Citrusy and citrus notes. Barley sugar. Taste barley sugar, sharp hoppy notes. Quite bitter. Finish very bitter and sugary. White sugar. Very heavy and slightly boozy. oobawa (1301) - Tennessee, USA - MAR 20, 2017
Beautiful bitter bomb, hoppy as hoppy can be with a gigantic malt base to offset the brutal finish. Pour is gorgeous, a glorious orange-gold underneath an enormous head and age rings that linger after each sip. Nose explodes with citrus and cat pee, backed by an orange-tinted sweetness and the slightest hint of booze. But, dear lord, what a hop bomb, the pine-grapefruit-orange-floral pungency of the Citras and Simcoes melding with caramel-toast malts to create a flood of majestic IPA excess. Starts mildly sweet, grows increasingly bitter, and finishes uber-resinous, a lingering finish for the ages. Alcohol is completely hidden, and the feel is silky smooth. Great beer.
