Simcoe and Citra: my two favorite hops! Pours a very hazy ruby orange color with a half finger off white head. Smells of sweet, juicy grapefruit, lots of papaya, mango, pine, fruit punch, almost like a perfume floral smell. Little bit of breadiness in the back but over taken by the hop qualities. Taste starts with the mellower fruits like papaya, mango, pineapple from the citra. Then in the middle you get a carmel flavor, as well as a biscuity note. Also some of the more astringency notes start to creep in like grapefruit and pine from the simcoe. Then the finish is more of the carmel malt, pine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, papaya, mango. Just a symphony of flavors. The finish lasts and a bitter grapefruit and lemon flavor is the last to go. Just enough malt to just cut some of the bitterness from the massive amounts of hops. Definitely do get booze on the finish as well, but that is expected at almost 12%. Gets much better as it warms and the fruity flavors of the hops definitely do come out when it does. Pretty full mouthfeel with moderate carbonation and a creamy, yet oily mouthfeel from the hops. Would love to get my hands on more of this!

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2017 Bottle poured into a tulip glass. Pours clear gold with a small fizzy white head. Aroma is huge and full of lemon, grapefruit, mango, and pine. Initial taste is pine, earthy, oak aged bourbon, with a hint of citrus underneath. Aftertaste is still very earthy with a hint of biscuit and pine resin. Full body and just enough carbonation. Alcohol is hidden pretty well and leaves a nice warming. Very good stuff. Almost like a bigger version of their Imperial IPA.

On tap at Lost Dog Cafe in Merrifield, VA. Clear, bright golden org with no head and trivial lacing. Aroma of pine, tropical fruit, grapefruit, other citrus, pineapple, pale malt and alcohol. Taste of grapefruit, pine, tropical fruit, pineapple, alcohol and sweet malt. Medium full body and medium carbonation. Plenty hoppy with a firm sweet malt backbone and a noticeable alcohol burn. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Titans, served in my IPA glass. Crystal clear beautiful copper in color with an insanely hoppy bouquet featuring tons of tropical fruits. Medium bodied with a slightly scratchy carbonation. The taste is bitter woodsy pine, sweet sirupy malts and hugely fruity hops. For such a high ABV it is much less boozzy than I expected though it does have some heat to it. Really good.

650 ml bottle from Canada Craft Club. Pours a clear golden orange colour with moderate-sized, creamy white head. Aroma is big danky, citric hops with some vinous character and a little booze. Flavour is huge, dank citric hops, some vinous white wine character, light grains and some booziness. Big body. Impressive.

Pale yellow small head. Citrusy and citrus notes. Barley sugar. Taste barley sugar, sharp hoppy notes. Quite bitter. Finish very bitter and sugary. White sugar. Very heavy and slightly boozy.

Beautiful bitter bomb, hoppy as hoppy can be with a gigantic malt base to offset the brutal finish. Pour is gorgeous, a glorious orange-gold underneath an enormous head and age rings that linger after each sip. Nose explodes with citrus and cat pee, backed by an orange-tinted sweetness and the slightest hint of booze. But, dear lord, what a hop bomb, the pine-grapefruit-orange-floral pungency of the Citras and Simcoes melding with caramel-toast malts to create a flood of majestic IPA excess. Starts mildly sweet, grows increasingly bitter, and finishes uber-resinous, a lingering finish for the ages. Alcohol is completely hidden, and the feel is silky smooth. Great beer.
