"Gotta rate this as is, and since KD doesn’t date their bottles, I dont feel that’s unfair. In retrospect, Sac beer week was in February. Then why the bleep is there a display for this 9.5 month old beer at the Total Wine 10 minutes from the bleeping brewery?! Anyway, it sucked. Stale malt forward beer with a little bitterness and spice the only evidence that this was once an iPa. Date the damn bottles, guys."

Pale orange in color... Aroma of light piney and citrusy hops... Flavor is slightly thin and watery with dank hops throughout... Refreshing

Found this at Total Wine in 2013. So I know that I am taking a leap here. This certainly doesn’t taste like a session beer or one that is 4.3% abv. It has a dankness and heaviness that I associate with a heavier IPA. Not bad but I would go back and get Simtra instead. whicheck (82) - California, USA - JAN 17, 2013
Light hopy smell. Light and smooth all the way around on this one. Nothing that puts it over the top for me. hayduke (5617) - Eureka, California, USA - AUG 17, 2012
I got this from Total Wine or More in Sacramento. I sent a bottle to my great trading partner and fellow beer geek in Wood River, Il. We shared it together on Facebook Chat. It poured a clear copper with a white head and good lacing rings. The nose is crisp caramel malts and lots of floral and citrus hops. Medium in body with a smooth mouthfeel. The flavor is a good burst of citrus and floral hops, and a nice bitterness that carries over into the finish. The low ABV is a bonus making this session able. Darn good.

Bomber from Hayduke. We enjoyed this together via facebook chat. This beer is clear coppery golden with a nice off white head. I smell pine and citrus hops with plenty of caramel malts. First sip brings big tart hops. Grapefruit citrus. Malts are bread and graham crackers. Just noticed this has an ABV of 4.3% and I like it even more. IBUs are listed as 38 and seem higher. This is a winner. Thanks Ron! BlackEyePA (573) - USA - AUG 5, 2012
great recipe. The caramel malty smoothness with the deep hop aroma and flavor really works. very hoppy for a claimed 38 ibu, the dry hop mustve been nuts. Alot of soft floral notes from aroma hops. Well made, good job beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - JUL 19, 2012
Sampled on 4/20/2012. This American Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color form a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is citrusy, hoppy and grapefruity. A medium to lighter bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. The hops are grapefruity and citrusy. Decent carbonation. The hoppiness has some staying power, nice long lasting bitterness. Might be a nice session APA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Bottle from bhensonb. Poured a nice copper with a white head. Aroma was a pleasant citrus, caramel malt, and some pine. Flavor was Orange, citrus, caramel, and pine. Body was light with high carbonation. Dodgrblu (753) - Sacramento, California, USA - APR 29, 2012
22 ounce bottle from Total Wine Sac. Session in this case seems to mean low aroma and flavor. Not a bad beer but nothing stands out.
