TAR (2761) - Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, USA - MAR 15, 2016
Draught at the brewpub, Nov. 2015: Shimmering pale golden. Clean and mineralic aroma of grass and newly cured haystacks, with hints of herbal hops, cracker and honey. Snug, soft, fine carbonation. Bright, green hop flavors reveal an appetizing array of elegant spicy notes, which sizzle as the oils quietly ooze. Very polished and multilayered pils malt shows fresh baked baguette atop a pastrylike richness and vanilla cookie accents. Malt is incredibly snappy yet chock full of pillow-soft textures. Grassy hop brightness is seamlessly interwoven with the pils malt which recalls curing hay. Minerals parallel the scratchy herbality. Snappy and toasty finish is adorned with grass, herbs and dabs of spice. A fantastically clean pils that does everything correctly. All it needs is a bit more of everything and I’d be in heaven. Another quality lager from a brewery that excels at making clean beer.

fdomig (1017) - München, GERMANY - FEB 6, 2016
500ml on tap in Regensburg at the brewpub. Aroma is hops and light oats. Appearance is clear golden with a two finger white foam. Taste is medium bitter and very light sweet. A medium carbonation with a light, perfectly balanced dryness. Very nice.

WillemsUrenkel (1874) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - JAN 13, 2016
0,5 l bottle. Clear golden in the glass, fine off white head. Grassy nose. Taste starts with malt and a load grain, straw. Everything like expected. Surprisingly more hop bitterness than other bavarian Pilsener. But in the end nothing special, still a Pilsener.

perlitabraun (41) - - JAN 1, 2016
Clear gold beer with white head. Aroma of herbal and citrus hops. Hoppy light sweet and bitter taste. It is good.

eunck (210) - Hamburg, Hamburg, GERMANY - DEC 29, 2015
Good looking beer with nice white head. Pretty unexciting though, as pretty much everything (except sweetness which is low) is medium. Hops bring more bitterness than (grassy) aromas. Not bad.

blackisle (2582) - Amsterdam IJburg, NETHERLANDS - DEC 8, 2015
Bottle 50cl. Clear medium golden, large frothy white head, diminishing slowly, good lacing; aroma is malty, grain, bread, hay; taste is medium sweet and bitter, malty, grassy, medium duration; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste is mild sweetbitter; solid Pilsner.

3fourths (9345) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - NOV 16, 2015
Draft at the brewery in Regensburg. Sparkling pale gold with lasting foamy white head. Light bodied, crisp with lip-smacking malt sugars, balanced bitterness, smooth texture, soft carbonation, enjoyable noble hop effect of lemon, flowers, apricot, etc., has a quiet detergent note to go with the quiet baked cracker Pilsner malt profile. Cleanly fermented and maintains balance, oily and juicy late with a satisfying quenching effect that has you going in for another gulp.

joe19612 (2925) - camberley, Surrey, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2015
Tap at GBBF 15. Pours a clear gold colour with a firm white head, aroma has hops and citrus fruits, taste is light and hoppy with a dry crisp finish.

Moravius (1289) - Pyongyang, NORTH KOREA - APR 21, 2015
