ganache (6032) - New Jersey, USA - MAY 19, 2012
Green-glassed bottle by 05.12.2012 (i.e., December, not last week). Very sweet nose with light grass and citrus, even some bright malt. Clear yellow-golden with a fizzy white head. Taste lightly sweet, light bitterness, thin malt with touch of cardboard, not stale or dirty per se but a little industrial into into the aftertaste. Medium body.

lusikka (7819) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 25, 2012
500 ml bottle.
Pours a yellow colour with a large white head. Aroma of strong grassy hops and some herbal notes. Flavour of grassy hops, stinging herbs, light citrus and some mellow honey-like sweetness. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Truly a "classic" German pils.

On tap at the brewery. Golden color with medium white head. Aroma of, grain, some fruits and piss. Taste, grainy, fruity with light bitter finish. Well, I don’t think, I will drink this beer again.

Bottled 500ml. -from Bier Imperium, Vienna. Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, lively carbonation, grainy honey nose. Malty, grainy and honey with quite strong bitterness in the finish. Also good hoppy profile with flowery hints. Nice pils.

UPDATED: AUG 3, 2015 2015 rating (5.2%):
Rerate courtesy of heavy, thanks! Poured a shiny yellow body with a tiny white head. Soft, dusty appleay aroma. Taste... ouch... unappealing aggressive herbal taste with some alcohol present even. Impressively bad bitterishherbal finish. I’m reading my old rating and cannot believe these are the same beer... Whatever changes there were were not for the better. 5/3/4/2/10.

2011 rating:
Bottle, obviously, courtesy of Ogi who shared this with me (thanks!)
The goat on the label is cool :). Anyway, poured a shiny yellow body with a persistent thick white head. Nice grainy nose, notes of rice crackers, slightly oily, almost like a high-tier Czech pils! And the kind of CZ pils I like to boot. Yeah, Czech-style gluey, rice-crackery lovely grainy maltiness. Light, but even a little smokey. With a fresher hop profile this would’ve been a classic, like this, it’s "just" a very good Czechoid German pils! 7/3/7/3/14

Koelschtrinker (21318) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 12, 2011
Test vom 2.4.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 4,8,8,5,6,7 - 6,65

Nice little brewery. This pils is definitely not crap, but it isn’ t outstanding nice clean flavors.
