rodbod (418) - Motherwell, SCOTLAND - AUG 27, 2017
2016 vintage as "Tillington Hills Premium British Cider" from the Co-op.
The aroma is very cidery (as opposed to fruity or apple-y), also lively, slightly funky. It has that sherbet-like apple fizz that commercial ciders have.
The taste is fairly dry, brisk, fruity, with a drying lightly tannic finish. decent apple notes, yellow/red, and good skin quality in the finish.
The palate is dry, with medium tannins and very clean.

Bottle from Teasco, Eastbourne shared with McTapps. Wonderful nose filled with honey, apples and some cereals. Bit too low in the carbo. Very dry ending combined with a semisweet taste full of apples and some honey. Really easy to drink and very pleasing in the end. Thumbs up. danlo (3184) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - JUL 27, 2014
