Pours a filtered amber-golden color, with a spongy, lively, small head. Smells of well water with a mineralic tone to it, together with straw, wet grass and a hint of smoke. Drinks very refreshing and light bodied, subtle on the smoke with a surprisingly pungent dryness, once the beer’s carbonation turns more effervescent. Tastes of dough, straw, a tad of toffee, and offers lots of dried herbs. Its hoppiness stays easily in balance, while it effectivly cuts of any sweetness beyond the foundation of a well working malt backbone. The beer finishes soft and clean, with its mineralic impression from the nose getting transported to the palate, together with a smoky quality and a late toffee sweetness. Very different then expected - perfectly balanced but way more refreshing than your typical Rauch, based on its light smokiness, which compliments to a way more pronounced hop punch, heading into a crisp interpretation of a Landbier. Nice from beginning till the end, throughout enjoyable.

Pour is golden amber color with an average dissipating white head. Smell of bread, hay, cereal, and caramel malts. Flavor matches the aroma. Simple but well executed beer.
