MoritzF (10142) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - NOV 30, 2017
(tap at the brewpub) Hazy, amber colour with a firm and minimally off-white foamy head. Slightly earthy and grainy malty aroma with subtle citric, as well as flowery and herbal hops. Bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated but not particularely “ungespundet” mf. Dry and earthy malt character with cereals, mineralic notes and very present herbal-spicy hops; lingering hop spicy and bitter finish with delicately citric notes. Very good. 25.XI.17

Lovely balanced lager, I like it.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2017 Tap into Steinkrug. Aroma is earthy malts, juicy hops, orange peel. Taste is oranges, juicy malts, earthy-rustic, mineralic finish. Silky mouthfeel with low carbonation. Super tasty, but not world class - at least not today.

Tap in Krug at brewery. Nice juicy chewy malt, grassy and minty hops, fairly bitter in the back of the palate, spicy mineral, orange peel retronasal.

Gurthnar (6248) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - SEP 27, 2017
Tap at Zly casy. Quite balanced overall impression. Initially grainy vegetal bready malt, medium-full body, then equaled by moderate bitterness and grassy earthy hops character. The finish is dry, vegetal. Not the best beer, not bad neither.

Ritzn (1890) - GERMANY - AUG 7, 2017
Gravity pour. Served in a stein. Aroma is wheat some herbs yeasts and shy forest. Taste is fresh sour with a herbal bitter hinge. Full bodied and drinkable. Tart finish. Not very harsh. Good.

tonyferrari (33) - North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUL 30, 2017
Served on tap. Clear amber-copper colour. Creamy white lasting foam. Malty aroma. Malty flavour little by little overwhelmed by the bitterness, which lasts as aftertaste. Medium-low carbonation. Medium body which masks the 5% Abv. A summer beer, but complex and intriguing.
