This makes a pleasant session beer which leaves me wanting more. Which is a pleasant change. Its not heavily hopped but has a nice grapefruity edge to it but not long lasting. CrossleeBrewery (1) - Johnstone, SCOTLAND - AUG 16, 2017 does not count
IPA tradition wasn’t American, but this is a flavoursome experiment. I tried a 330ml bottle, but this is on the list to try again. cgarvieuk (25680) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 26, 2011

Bottle. Gold orange with a nice head. Malty citrus aroma. Some sweetness. Not Bad. AshtonMcCobb (6843) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 16, 2011
33cl bottle. Pours a golden orange colour with not much bubbles but a generous head. The nose has pine and a faint note of grapefruit. The taste has a good sweet malt base and then oranges followed by the bitter pine finish. The palate has a medium body, a good creamy texture and a clean but not too astringent finish. A very well balanced IPA which could lead to several more.

Cask (SRAF 2013) - Golden in colour. Lemon, pine and tea in the aroma. Hoppy and bitter taste with notes of grapefruit, lemon, tea and a hint of honey. shoestring (420) - larkhall, SCOTLAND - DEC 21, 2014
Cask at Ship Inn North Berwick. Creamy with head that lasts and laces al down glass. Had three pints. It does have quiite a strong lemony grapefruit finish. I agree with comment that likens it to a stronger Deuchars. Both in strength and taste. BlackHaddock (7562) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - FEB 16, 2015
500ml bottle poured into an Old Speckled Hen badged pint vase at home on 16th Feb 2015. Extremely lively pour with a huge white foaming head that filled the glass before I had a chance to stop pouring. It settled down OK and a pale golden body began to appear as the bubbles calmed and popped. Good hoppy nose with a hint of the bitterness to come: which it does by the bucket load in the taste. Really hop bitter in every corner, but in a good way. I really enjoyed this: during a random Monday tasting session with myself and Bertie, the dog! Graham77 (514) - SCOTLAND - FEB 14, 2017
330ml bottle. Aroma is malty with whisky and vanilla. The taste is not as accessible as some IPAs but quite rewarding. More sweet than bitter, slightly astringent and with modest hopping. Good IPA. JohnRMurdoch (4997) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - MAY 2, 2011
UPDATED: JAN 28, 2017 Cask @ The Cumberland Bar, Edinburgh & bottle present. Dark amber colour, reasonable head. Toffee grain malt aroma. Spicy vanilla caramel flavour. Bitter aftertaste. Bottle (for which rating now applies) very much better than cask.
