330 ml flip-top bottle, bb 13.05.16, from Hofladen Dazu, Vienna.
Golden, moderate hazy body, with a big, stable, fluffy, lacing, white head.
Aroma of spicy-sweet honey, grains, flowers, grass, bread, some metallic notes.
Tastes follows this, but without the metallic notes and some more herbs.
Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium sweet, floral, moderate bitter, a bit spicy, with honey, bread, some grains.

Good. The nose isn’t that good, but the taste is better, with well integrated, sweet and spicy honey notes. Quite enjoyable, while I’ve had much better honey beers.

Gurthnar (5142) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JAN 8, 2014
Bottle from Heeresgeschichtliches Museum Wien. Aroma is mostly sweet malt and maybe a bit of honey? Not really sure, nothing clearly discernible. Clear golden colour. Taste is mild, balanced. Light hoppy, light ambiguous maltish sweetness. Quite refreshing, if nothing else. OK beer, nothing special.

Bottle from Gurthnar, many thanks! Nothing special, I smell and taste only some honey, not so dominant in this beer. Corn, malt, some herbals. Drinkable but nothing special.

Bottle from Hofladen "Dazu", Vienna: Clear folden color, white head. Malty, fruity aroma with notes of honey. Also quite malty, pithy and pleasant flavor, fruitiness and honey. Some honey sweetness in the end balanced with a bit dry, light bitterness. Nice brew.
