Draught at TBE. Very light aroma, mild fruitiness, orange, grass, biscuit, light fruity finish. Really thin and boring stuff, needs complete renovation. willisread (3463) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 16, 2016
Tap at TBE brewing. Very faint orange on the nose as it warms. Malty and grainy with some light orange zest and feels boozy for the abv. Finish is sweet and malty. Meh. jinroh (2004) - ESTONIA - SEP 22, 2014
330 ml bottle, paired it with a nice piece of pan-fried juicy Japanese beef. Poured darker shade of golden, quite clear and nice and persistent head. Aroma is quite malty, I cannot get almost any hops in here. Maybe something herbal. Taste is also similar - it is malty, a lot of bread and then some bitterness. Not so fragrant although some fruitiness comes out in the middle. Aftertaste is bitter but this bitterness is kind of stale. Not really sure if this can be called IPA - but well, it did work with my steak. shoulderbroken (4255) - Tokyo, JAPAN - JUN 3, 2014
Tap at Keyaki. All of these Keyaki ratings are a mess. Malty, lightly hoppy, not so exciting.

IPA? Sweet, subtly spiced ale, yes. Some cinammon and bready malts with a grass, kumquat and citrus finish. Quite short. Lowish carbonation. Not overly bitter, though alcohol is well hidden.

12 ounce bottle thanks to Kaori, bought in Saitama. Pours a very clear copper color with a medium white head. A sweet malty nose with light earthy hops. A nice refreshing flavor very rich somewhat bitter hops, oranges, more rich earthy smooth malts. Not a big IPA in any sense, but smooth and clean. KyotoLefty (10523) - Kyoto, JAPAN - APR 25, 2012
Draught at 1020. Nose is rather faint, with light grassy hop, caramel, minerals. Light caramel malt flavor, grassy, peppery hops, not big hop flavor, but clean and has great balance and drinkablilty. Closer to a pale ale really, with a nice dryness, light grape flavors. Works well. A little dry hopping with these same hops would kick it in nicely.
