Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is seet with notes of malt, hops, citrus, and straw, leading to a very bitter finish.

Leighton (21307) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 10, 2011
UPDATED: SEP 29, 2014 Keg at the Euston Tap. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a creamy, white cap. Aroma holds a lot of buttered bread, some vegetables, hints of ripe orange. Flavor is quite sweet, honey and cakey bread, grassy bitterness, subtle pine, dank hay. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Warmish finish, some dry toastiness in the throat, hints of yeast, light pine. Seems like this beer is still trying to find itself. Alright. (10 June 2011, Score: 3.4)

Draft at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 1 - London. Pours clear yellow with a white foam head. Nice. Some cleansing minerals, citrus peel, moderate sweetness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Gritty mineral finish with pale malts and rindy citrus. Not bad. (Score: 3.4)

ogreface (1390) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 1, 2010

Rare Beer Club bottle: pours a hazy golden. huge fluffy white head. What an interesting nose. FUNK is the word. always wondered what an earthy basement aroma with some yeasty cheese smelled like. simply odd and made you wondering what you’re going to get. Pretty slick in texture. citrus fermenting fruit with a bit of unique hop strain that adds upfront bitterness briefly that quickly fades for a soft finish. Interesting to say the least. Enjoyable.

Highly carbonated golden ale with a nice white head. Smell is very earthy and grape like. Taste is bitter with a sweet grape and bread like flavor. It taste like a sour ale a little bit. Not a bad start for a hybrid style.

(750ml bottle thanks to blutt59) clearish medium yellow with soapy bubbles. Nose is EXTREMELY funky, cat urine, funky, cheese that a cat peed on, sulfur and apples. Taste of medium citrus bitterness, oranges, fresh citrus, pine and creamy body. Very weird.

Bottle. Creamy white excellent fully lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Modrate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Nice beer, but tastes more like a hoppy B.P.

Bottle 300ml.

Clear medium orange yellow color with many small body particles, a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, toasted, moderate to light heavy hoppy, green grass - hay, grass, soap, light lemon - lemon grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, lemon grass, green grass, light dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110215]

Schroppfy (2360) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - MAR 10, 2011
A good beer, bitter, citric hops, citric hops, drenched in citric hops. Truly. Lovely color (light gold/yellow) and great conditioning. Reminds of sharp sourdough bread and cheddar cheese. Relatively clean and fresh even when warm. Unidimensional and strongly flavored, though.

3fourths (9347) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 6, 2011
draft at prague beer museum. fruity apple and grassy American hop nose; strong pear and fruit cocktail character. high bitterness, pasty and rough everywhere, over-estery, waxy and fruity, and comes across like an American-stye pale ale with citrus rind and kiwi lingering. medium body, moderately chewy, and a bit too sweet.
