Rare Beer Club bottle: pours a hazy golden. huge fluffy white head. What an interesting nose. FUNK is the word. always wondered what an earthy basement aroma with some yeasty cheese smelled like. simply odd and made you wondering what you’re going to get. Pretty slick in texture. citrus fermenting fruit with a bit of unique hop strain that adds upfront bitterness briefly that quickly fades for a soft finish. Interesting to say the least. Enjoyable.

Highly carbonated golden ale with a nice white head. Smell is very earthy and grape like. Taste is bitter with a sweet grape and bread like flavor. It taste like a sour ale a little bit. Not a bad start for a hybrid style.

Bottle sample. Hazy deep yellow color with a small white head. Citrus hop nose, with some lemon and a touch of yeast. Clean malt flavor, med-hi bitterness, some tart fruits notes. Medium body, nice bitter finish, refreshing and quite good.

Bottle from Pivni Rozmanitost. Yellow ochre colour, small whitish head. Nettle and citrus aroma. Medium body, long-lasting bitterness, citrus flavours propelled by perfect carbonation. Excellent beer, well worth trying - one of Kocour’s best.

Yellow, hazy with little yeast particles. Thick white head. Aroma is malty and bready, little hops and some herbal notes. In taste you get malts. Medium bitterness, noticeable at the finish, but intensifies in aftertaste. Nothing special stands out. But maybe it stayed too long in the bottle?
