1l plastic bottle from Zly casy, Prague. Hazy golden color with medium white head. Aroma of floral hops, caramel, malt. Taste, nice floral bitter hops, hints of caramel, grapefruit and honey. Nice long bitter finish. Nice.

on tap at klub malych pivovaru on numerous occasions. enticing shade of golden, light haze and indefatigable head; aroma of pine forest after rain; juicy texture with wrigley juicy fruit chewiness, menthol and plenty of citric bitterness. somehow i get the feeling this beer has become a little toned down recently with a less boisterous aroma but it’s still a delight

Sample from a screwtop 1 littre bottle @ WoSF 2012 // awesome craft beer in a PET bottle, my first one, I love it // thx a lot to Diabel for this one // (a) slightly hazy golden with little head // (s) sweet, flower, lavender (I am getting it), touch nectar, melon, fruits, underriding herbs // (t) this one is pretty odd in a nice way, cough drops sweetness, very strongly herbal, like field of herbs, plenty of floral hops, touch pale malts, lavender soap detergent, touch flowers & grapes // very, very special & unique // touch out of my interest zone but I am quite digging the uniqueness of this, never had an IPA like this before & it comes in a PET bottle // nicely well carbonated, easy to drink but it is quite a lot to take in

Hazy orange/yellow body with a white fizzy/creamy head. Fruity aroma of orange, melon, ... Quite well balanced flavour; heavily bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Nice. Ok complexity with a powdery dry finish.

(Rating #4840)

Gravity dispense at the GBBF 2014. Clear amber with a white foam head. Nose is nice and grainy, lair yeast, caramel and biscuit malt, toffee, grassy, straw. Taste has the IPA tang of hop and pine but it’s a nice combination of IPA and lager pilsner, Grass and straw on the finish and tangy hop and pine.

From tap at Prague Beer Museum (N. Míru). Misty golden body. Herbal, dry, citric (sweetish), dusty lovely aroma, quite fresh too, light gum. Fresh herbal bitter assault, lasting, countered with some gum, very, very tasty. The herbal bitter aftertaste lasts a long, long time. Now, we’ve had 3 Matuška’s pale ales before that day, this pretty much beat all of them except for the insanely good California. A bit sad I haven’t had more Kocours on that trip, but delighted they are still so awesome.
