Tradiční český ležák zlatavé barvy s vyváženě hořkou a lahodně plnou chutí, chmelovou vůní a bohatou pěnou.
Traditional Czech lager of golden color of balanced bitter and nicely full flavor, hops aroma and rich foam.

Bottled. Classic light golden hazy color with nice stable foam. Aroma is not very impressive, some malts and a bit of hops. Taste suprisingly sweet with some bitterness which is enriched closer to the end. Medium body.

300 ml bottle brought from Prague. Pours pale golden with a small head. Aroma is usual pilsener, somehow reminds me Lithuanian beers. Taste is similar, some light malts with a bit of hops. Sweet aftertaste, soft bitterness lingering around even longer. Easily drinkable but not really spectacular.

On tap @ beerart 2013 Casteggio. profumo debole, ma classicamente PILS.

in bottle ... not usually a pilsner fan though this beer is quite good. Light bodied, almost champagne like in taste without the regular hoppy pilsner finish ... quite nice, I would buy again

(Rating #4842)

On tap at Toulavy Kocour Pub (03/03/13). Feels good to renew with this level of quality Czech beers after a rather disapointing dinner. Clear, very light, bright gold pour with impeccable white head. Aroma of fresh cereal, grain, lots of hops, grassy/leafy saaz but also some more new-world varieties, some hints of citrus, light lemon, melon and pineapple, light honey grainy notes. Taste is grainy, light honey-like perceived sweetness although the beer itself is quite dry, light fruity hops, well dosed bitter finish. Palate is dry, soft, silky carbonation, great palate. A nice modern twist that respects the traditional character of this style.

My Bottom Line:
Elegant citrusy hop spiciness benefits from a grassy touch in this crisp, refreshing Svetly.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A super creamy head of foam tops the bright yellow mist.
-The finish is hoppier than your average Svetly.
-The mouthfeel is creamy yet not very sweet at all.
-A touch of hay is shared by the pils malts.

On tap at U Toulavy Kocour, Brno.
