COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Previously brewed at Anders.

JoeinDahlem (1503) - Berlin, GERMANY - JUN 20, 2017
A pleasant Flemish take on saison, with an American accent. Lightly hazed pale gold, white foam with so-so head retention. Smells of spicy phenols over a bit of hop-driven citrus, like orange slices or lemon peel. Bitterish, off-dry, tangy flavor, finishing with a bit of sweet grain and lingering light hop-fruity-bitterness, touch of alcoholic warmth. It winds up as a reasonably tasty hop-forward blonde with yeast-driven spice, but just a touch too soft and sweet to properly quench summer thirst.

psilosophy (772) - vitry en artois, FRANCE - MAY 6, 2017

Bottle from LDW, Eke. Hazy yellow colour, white foam. Nose is grassy, citrus peel, lemon grass. Bitter taste. Some spices. Hoppy aftertaste.

Zilverenmaan (174) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - MAR 21, 2017
Opaque, head not lasting. Fine, floral hops, distinctly malty. Aftertaste a little bitter and lingering. Not bad but lacks a bit of character to my taste. Mouthfeel and carbonation soft.

erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - MAR 19, 2017
Sourish golden malts, bit toasty. Saison style only in the unclean fermentation, but it doesn’t have the deep developed character of a good Belgian Saison. The base recipe is good enough, but the brewing style is rushed. (33cl bottle from Prik&Tik Leuven)

kajser27 (1785) - Zagreb, CROATIA - MAR 14, 2017
Unclear, golden yellow colored, medium white head, nice lasting. Aroma is fruity and spicy mostly, saison yeast, some brewing sugary notes, straw and lemon. Taste is medium sweet malt, bit sugar, fruity and spicy notes, saison yeast, some citrus, straw, medium spicy and herbal bitterness, dryish finish. Medium bodied, average carbonation, oily. (bottle, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)

Bosskie (881) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 16, 2016
Slightly opaque golden beer with a weak white head. Smell is fruity and sour citrus, with a hint of wood and apple sweetness. Touch of vanilla. Tasteis bitter sour with a hint of thick sweetness, caramel. Astringent finish, a bit too much. Very dry with a nice fizz. Crisp, nice.
