mjs (7778) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 4, 2015
(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 11/2017, at One Pint Pub, 20151204) The beer poured deep amber and rather clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had honey, sweetness, tea and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, honey, grass, malts and bitternes. Aftertaste had honey and bitterness. A decent tripel. Nothing disturbing.

75cl from Tommelin Dikkebus. Looks like a tripel, tastes like a triple. Nothing special and near identical to the product of larger breweries. While commendable, pointless.Bit miffed as it cost double the price of many better beers.

Bottle from Elie. Many thanks! Hazy golden colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Sweet with nose of flowers, banana, peach and some citrus. Well balanced. Sweet and bitter. Good tripel!

On Tap @ Zythos Goes to Italy, Treviso. Orange with frothy white head. Aroma is fruits and malt. Sweet flavour and warming end

Maenhout’s first, tasted when it first came onto the market. Loose, cream white head, misty peach blonde colour with slightly brownish hue. Aroma starts off nicely with apple, coriander, orange peel, and then it makes a turn for the worse with my friends H2S (rotten egg), DMS (cooked cabbage) and sweat... Fruity taste, malt sweetness, slick and elegant with grassy hops but then there’s the retronasal DMS ruining it. I must have had a bad bottle and I suspect this has much improved meanwhile, viewing the other ratings here and viewing the quality of their current beers. Time to give it a second chance.

Een lekkere tripel zoals een tripel hoort te zijn, drinkt vlot weg. Tripel--liefhebbers gaan niet teleurgesteld zijn

Bottle, bought @ De Hopduvel, Gent. Pours clear golden with a small, creamy, white head. Aroma has mild apple, sweet malts, light orange. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has caramel, apples, vinious, doughy. Fine estery notes and light warming. Good, if slightly malty bitterness.

Martinus (4740) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - MAY 23, 2013
Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, candy and bubblegum. Sweet malty flavour. Malty finish, lingering sweet, almost cloying.
(From 75cL bottle @ joes. Thanks for sharing, Benzai!)

Benzai (16928) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - MAY 16, 2013
75cl bottle shared with Dutchdrebus, Martinus and Joes. Slightly unclear orange color, small to medium sized white head. Smell malts, a bit sweet, a bit flowery. Taste malts, sweetness, again blossom and flowers with a sweet-bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad at all.
