Gushing to brown-cream head, dense, interspecked with brown yeast patches, over very dark reddish brown beer. End of bottle solid yeast. Very woody nose, ink, cardboard, earthy. Chalk on blackboard too. Sourish-woody flavour, very nice lactic acid character; severe but not sharp. Sourish milkchocoalte, if that makes sense. Acidthinning, but quite slick; feels quite carbonated. Nice; convincingly Oud Bruin-ish.
Found an unlabeled bottle in my private stash. After opening, realised what it was. Dark brown color, medium rocky head. Aroma of lactic acid, leather and funkiness, fruity strawberry and a bit of roast and butterscotch. Medium to high lactic sourness in taste, horseblanket, leather and funk. Slight fruity, strawberry yoghurt. Guess the small addition of lambic has overtaken almost the whole of the base beer, but the funk holds up easily. Flavor is light fruity, boozy and has a slight sour aftertaste. Really strange brew, but very funny just like the real crazy Amsterdam coffee cakes.. Bottle at THT March edition. Dark brown pour with foamy tan head. Aroma is crazy, lots of cinnamon, chili, funky aromas, green pepper, pepper. Taste is spicy, sweet malty notes, roasty acidic finish. Coffee aroma. Thin tan head. Clear deep amber pour. Coffee and sour taste. It has mellowed nicely with age.

Clear deep ruby red to purple beer, big irregular off-white head, pretty stable, very little adhesive. Aroma: very fruity first impression, dark forest fruits, cherry jam, sourish, spicy, wooden barrels, coffee, charcoal. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: sour red berries, forest fruits, alcohol, sourness from the bretta coming through, forest fruits jam, sour spiciness, like ginger or something. Aftertaste: sourish, some mocha and coffee, red fruit jam, little bitter, earthy touch, pretty spicy, orange marmalade bitterness. A bit too sour to finish a whole glass, could’ve used some moderation when adding the lambic. But otherwise a very nice experiment!
Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Opaque hazy reddish color, medium sized quickly diminishing beige head. Aroma as suspected fairly sourish and some red fruits. Tastes about the same: red fruits, sourness, unripe fruits, green apple. Not too sour though, so quite nice in the end. Medium body and carbonation. Bottle @ benzai. Opaque hazy red colour with a medium beige head. Smells sour, dusty, red fruits. Tastes sour, red fruits, slightly dusty.. Nice sour ale! Medium body, medium carbo. Quite a nice brew.
