blariacum (97) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - JUN 19, 2017
Tap. Mooi zwart bier; tendeert naar zoetig. Volle dronk en redelijk lange afdronk. Prima stout.

jerohen (2277) - Bussum, NETHERLANDS - JUN 9, 2017
Bottled, i think from the local G&G. Opaque black, small beige head. Malty nose, oatmeal, licorice, some port perhaps. Flavor is relatively bitter, malts, licorice, hint of lactose. Nice, but not as complex as i thought it would be based on aroma.

basjansen14 (366) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 7, 2017

puren (1071) - Starogard Gd., POLAND - JUN 5, 2017
PREZENTACJA: ciemno brunatne, prawie czarne, piana bardzo obfita, opada do wyspy z kołnierzem, zdobi szkło całkiem ładną firanką;
AROMAT: cola, wiśnia, żelazo, czekolada, żyto, ciemne pieczywo ;
ODCZUCIE: ciało średnie, średnio nasycone, alkohol rozgrzewa przełyk;
SMAK: czekolada, ciemne pieczywo, kakao, wyraźna chmielowa goryczka;

BlackHaddock (7233) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUN 4, 2017
3rd June 2017: mini tasting session with my wife. This 33cl bottle (BBD 5th June 2017) was given to me during the 2016 European Summer Gathering in Barcelona: i’ve stored it ever since and only just noticed it was almost out of date. Anyway it was poured into a Leffe badged chalice and consummed by my wife and I two days before it’s BBD. Very dark brown, beige head on top. Roasted, over roasted malts in the nose, slight smokiness and a dark fruity aroma. Taste similar, malts to the fore, again smokey and fruity. Decent.

Ferris (15020) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 30, 2017
Bottle - Dark roast, dark molasses and chocolate. Jet brown with a small beige head. Dark roast, dark fruity notes, chocolate and a nice rich finish. Complex and quite nice.

rumore (488) - Rimini, ITALY - MAY 30, 2017
From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours pitch black with brownish foam, very fine. Aroma is rich and sweet, of biscuit, caramel, marshmallow. Body is dense with a nice tickling carbonation and some stickiness. Taste is well balanced, with a nice bitter final from roasted malt. Finish is not particularly long.

BeerViking (4712) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 29, 2017
Bottle, deep dark brown with a fine tan foam, aromas of smoky malt, treacle and red wine. Rich and roasty sweet, dry-bitter and burnt, faint touch of roast coffee in the aftertaste.
