COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Early 2017 Joey was the first to join the Legion. A young American starting out as a rookie, or in Joey’s case a ¨Greenhorn¨. But he is gung-ho on showing everyone his persistence. And with the best ingredients he kicks like a mindblowing IPA

330ml bottle. Clear, reddish, pale amber colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Herbal hoppy aroma, hints of mint, woodruff, eucalyptus, strawy lemon tea. Taste is bitter and citrusy hoppy, notes of lemon, hints of red berries, a touch of mint and eucalyptus. Very clean and focused, a tad too much blown-out and restricted.

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2018 bottle. dark hazy caramel colour. k ow carb. low head retention. Dank new world hop on the nose and on the tongue. pleasantly balanced mild bitterness with non offensive malt caramel flavours. nice IPA. Not facesmacking. Not super earthy or super hoppy. just...nice.

Bottle of a gift pack to ourselves from Greetz.be; shared with Anke!
Gusher alert, spilled some when pouring the rest of the bottle. Initially hazy orange with a big, lasting, off-white head. The aroma contains grapefruit, lemon, orange, fruity hops, a bit of grass & yeast. It tastes light fruity sweet and light to medium hoppy bitter; lasting bitter, dry finish, never aggressive. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy to soft carbonation. Nothing unusual, but well-made, and tasty.

Thuis uit flesje. Mooie oranje kleur. Over het aroma kan ik niet veel zeggen, want ik ben redelijk verkouden. Smaak echter lekker bitter, goede ipa.

Light haze on this gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Thin malts. Crisp orange and orange peel. Trace of pine. Crisp finish. Mild bitter linger. Simple stuff but quite drinkable. My mind is definitely not blown though.
