Our brewers wanted to make a beer that went down easy after a day out on the water. Big Wave Golden Ale is just the ticket. Big Wave is a lighter bodied golden ale with a tropical hop aroma and flavor a smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The use of caramel malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and our special blend of hops provides bright quenching finish. 10.3

I dont know what to say about this beer other than that its about as average as a beer could be. Not bad by any means, but it isnt special in any way and it doesnt have any qualities that jump out at you.

09-DEC-2015, bottle @home, present from Jeanett & Johan, thx.:-) Golden, almost clear with a high, lively, white head that dies quickly. Citrus, malty sweet, honey. Medium body and carbonation. Clearly hoppy with mostly citrus, quite hoppy for the style, actually but not a lot of bitterness here. OK little one.

ElDesmadre (3625) - Mikołw, POLAND - DEC 7, 2015
Bottle. Watery, almost no bitterness and almost no taste, save for some faint citrus notes. If I want to drink water, I drink real water and not one that is pretending to be beer.

Cimbasso (884) - - DEC 7, 2015
Sampled from a bottle at Dan Ryan's Sports Bar at Pacific Place in Central, Hong Kong. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma of cereals, and a taste which has hints of citrus, pineapple and pine. The taste, carbonation and mouthfeel are all rather light, but the overall effect is not bad.

Towey1989 (2335) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 3, 2015
Keg at The Hop Inn, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. A clear golden colour with a fizzy white head. Aroma of cereal, some caramel, a little butter, slight lemon and subtle pineapple. Taste is similar of cereal, some caramel, a little butter, slight lemon and grassy hops. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A sweetish, cereal finish with a grassy hop bitterness. This is quite disappointing, smells and tastes like a mediocre amber ale. Was expecting better hoppiness.

Bottle from Alko, Kokkola. Pours clear golden with a medium foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of clean cereal notes with light dry notes. Taste is also a mix of clean cereal notes with some light dry hoppy notes with subtle residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation.

leaparsons (10291) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 24, 2015
Bottle. Golden with a diminishing foam. Buttery grain malts with mellow lemon and hints of tinned pineapple syrup. Traces of lime with a biscuit, corn finish. Fatty and peppery on the palate. Probably tastes better in Hawaii than Wigston. Average.
