The use of caramel malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and our special blend of hops provides bright quenching finish. 10.3°

Bottle. It pours clear golden with a medium white head. The aroma is fruity hoppy with a clean malty kick. Citrusy and fruity flavor with caramel malty notes.

From a bottle. Hoppier than expected for a golden able, but that’s not a problem for me, smooth and delicious. Will drink again.

Bottle from Chevy Chase Wine and Liquors. Hazy golden body with medium head. Nose is hoppy, floral, perfumed. Taste hoppy up front, with caramel and malt notes. Nice creamy texture.

I’m really enjoying this. It’s a perfectly refreshing beer with only a hint of hops. Incredibly drinkable. Light golden color - white head. Minimal sweetness.

BOTTLE. See through straw in colour with minimal bubbly head.. Sweet caramel malty nose, some orange & minimal hops.. Mostly sweet malts, a touch of orange is in there, a bit to thin.. Sourced Cellarbrations @ Capel

This is almost really interesting but ends up a bit bland. Tropical aroma, hop too and these sort of dance around the edge of the taste. Just enough to elevate it above watery nothingness but not enough to not be a bit disappointing.

Dacrza (993) - Great Meadows, New Jersey, USA - MAR 5, 2016
DATE TASTED: March 5, 2016... GLASSWARE: Barley Creek pint... OCCASION: the Knights of Columbus dinner finished... APPEARANCE: well, the body is as advertised, a crystal clear gold that sends steady spirals of effervescence upwards...a surprising half-finger, surf-white head surfaces and stays... AROMA: a fruity bouquet with mango, pineapple and lemon dish detergent mingle with berry, pear and hay... the caramel malts are detectable but not impactful... PALATE: light bodied... easily drinkable, with little texture... some dryness late, with an aftertaste that offers a bit of grit at its end...otherwise, meh.. TASTE: light hints of citrus fruits--mostly grapefruit, lemon and mango--with a tinge of lightly mowed hay... the flavor is refreshing but spritzy and metallic, with the caramel slightly adding some balance... OVERALL: as Kona goes, a reasonable case filler, with a refreshing return... not quite a memorable ale--not clean enough, not smooth enough--but useful in a sessionable manner...

nazbion (302) - Rio de Janeiro, BRAZIL - MAR 1, 2016
Pours pale yellow with thin white head. Nice citric hoppy aroma, light malty. Taste is light hoppy but rather bland. Very strong carbonation, light body. The aroma saves it.
