Our brewers wanted to make a beer that went down easy after a day out on the water. Big Wave Golden Ale is just the ticket. Big Wave is a lighter bodied golden ale with a tropical hop aroma and flavor – a smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The use of caramel malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and our special blend of hops provides bright quenching finish. 10.3°

Malts: Pale (Premium 2-Row), Caramel
Hops: Galaxy, Citra

Nothing special, just a standard blonde. Relatively bland aromas and flavors consisting of light grass, tropical fruit and bread. Watery body with a smooth finish. It is an easy drinker and fairly forgettable.

On tap at B-dubs. Yellow gold pour with a white head. Caramel malt and light hops in the taste and aroma. Generally not a big golden ale but this one was especially clean and refreshing.

Clara dourada,espuma com baixa formação e manutenção;aroma frutado remetendo a frutas amarelas(manga,mamão);no sabor malte,frutas cítricas(maracujá) e amarelas,final com leve picante,boa carbonatação,baixo corpo,refrescante,boa "drinkability".

At a AA ball game in Erie. Clear yellow-gold with a ring of white head. The aroma and flavour are very middle-of-the-road, with more malt than hops. Very safe beer.

Aroma - mostly cereal malt. Appearance - pale yellow, clean body, some nucleation. Minimal head rings out. Taste - cereal malt, and a some doughiness. Some mild Saaz hops. Palate - medium body, average carbonation, and an abrupt finish some Saaz like spice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours s crystal clear golden color with white head. Good hop aromas but too light body

Smooth honey gold color with minimal white foam. Aromas of exotic fruits like passionfruit, pinaple and mago. Palate wuit light and watery body with thin body and leaves minimal finish of fruits. Taste is sweetish and watery. tastes of the exotic fruits mentioned mainly of passionfruit but very weakly and taste does not last at all. Overall, nice smelling and looking beer but it is missing the body, too watery for me.

This is just about the most tasteless golden ale I’ve ever had. I don’t think I could tell the difference between this and a macro lager, we’re it not for the very slightly deeper colour.

Oh yeah - a Hawaii Ale that is crafty smelling and has little alcohol content with it, that is great. The after taste is the only thing where I would like a bit more. A god easy going beer.

I don’t know what to say about this beer other than that it’s about as average as a beer could be. Not bad by any means, but it isn’t special in any way and it doesn’t have any qualities that jump out at you.
