COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our brewers wanted to make a beer that went down easy after a day out on the water. Big Wave Golden Ale is just the ticket. Big Wave is a lighter bodied golden ale with a tropical hop aroma and flavor – a smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The use of caramel malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and our special blend of hops provides bright quenching finish. 10.3°

Malts: Pale (Premium 2-Row), Caramel
Hops: Galaxy, Citra

Pours gold with alot of carbonation, white head. Aroma is tons of tropical fruit, very nice hop aroma. Big on tropical fruit and citrus from the hops. This is more like a mild IPA than a Golden ale to me. Very good, and very underrated. Love it.

Idiosynkrasie (7427) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAR 27, 2015
355ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Biscuity malty aroma, some caramel, citrusy hoppy overtones, hints of lemon and orange. Taste is initially slightly citrusy hoppy, a touch of mango and grapefruit, later dry, minimally husky, almost papery in the finish. Can’t ride the Big Wave.

Cruzer (103) - St. Albert, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 26, 2015
A surprisingly refreshing drink. Pours golden, small white head. Aroma of hops and tropical fruits, smooth taste of hops, which doesn't get too bitter, has a nice finish.

Bottle from Super Brugsen , CPH - golden coloured pour with white head. Aroma and taste is subdued citrus fruity and grassy, some subtle lemony and floral notes, light to medium malty, easy drinking but pretty basic affair.

Augdraught1981 (266) - Harlem, Georgia, USA - MAR 23, 2015
Medium golden pour with thin head & a wonderful tropical fruit aroma. Very smooth body but very thin flavor with only a hint of the aroma coming through in the taste. As a summer / session beer this is an excellent choice, though the flavor could be more assertive. Overall highly drinkable thirst quencher & a flavorful alternative to your average light beer.

Excellent taste and aroma. Slightly happy aroma. As little citrus in the taste as well. Really enjoyed this one.

Bottle courtesy of Tanner. Thanks! Pours clear golden color, white head that fades to nothing. Aroma is mildly hoppy, hints of citrus. Grassy, a bit of grain and sweet malt. Taste is hop forward, much more so than I was expecting. Slightly bitter, slightly sweet. Much hoppier than expected from this style. Light body, highly carbonated. Would drink this again.
