Our brewers wanted to make a beer that went down easy after a day out on the water. Big Wave Golden Ale is just the ticket. Big Wave is a lighter bodied golden ale with a tropical hop aroma and flavor a smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The use of caramel malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and our special blend of hops provides bright quenching finish. 10.3

Clear golden with a little bit of white head. Aroma is mild bread. Flavor is also light bread with a light finish. Could be a bit crisper for how light it is. Nothing really offensive, but nothing interesting either.

355 ml. bottle from AH. 21022018. Golden, little white head, some bubbles rising. Nose is oily sweet, mandarin hop, low candy, very faint mineral. Taste is mildly sweet caramel, mineral, sparkling water, oily, some vegetable oil esp. in the finish, cotton oil,.... Bit thin, oily sparkling water body, bit mineral. Very far from exciting but seems to offer a better very mainstream alternative to pale lager.

Prima bier, deze golden ale. Fris en zomers, met een hint van citrus en wat koriander. Granig, in de verte te vergelijken met een witbier.

bonkiedeaap (724) - Leerdam, NETHERLANDS - APR 17, 2017
Bottle from Albert Heijn in Leerdam, The Netherlands. The beer is golden colored and has a small stable head with good carbonation. The aroma is malty and very fruity, with caramel, grass, flowers and tropical fruits like citrus, passion fruits and mango. Taste is light bodied and light sweet with caramel and fruit notes from the aroma and changes into a nice bitterness with hops and spices. The finish is refreshingly dry and bitter.

so refreshing so light. This is what ocean water would taste like if it were made into a beer. If i close my eyes i feel like im at the beach. Goes great with tequila and sunshine.

Flasche 355cl. Frisch-herbes Ale mit verblffender Tiefe trotz den leichten 4.4%ABV. Erfrischend wohl auch wegen des weichen Wassers. Gut gelungen!
