COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our brewers wanted to make a beer that went down easy after a day out on the water. Big Wave Golden Ale is just the ticket. Big Wave is a lighter bodied golden ale with a tropical hop aroma and flavor – a smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The use of caramel malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and our special blend of hops provides bright quenching finish. 10.3°

Malts: Pale (Premium 2-Row), Caramel
Hops: Galaxy, Citra

Golden clear pour. Soapy head, mild retention, minimal lacing. Aroma is wonderful; fruity hops with some natural earth. Taste is initially bland. Some hops and honey shine through the somewhat watery flavor. Aroma is the best thing about it. Mouthfeel is medium-thin and sticky. Decent beer. Its actually very unique how the hops are so strong on the nose but hardly noticeable in the flavor.

Gisteren 07 juli ’17 geproefd (flesje 35,5 cl.) in Gent bedankt Ymke.

Nice on the palate on a nicecand warm day. A little bitterness to it, but nothing overpowering.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2017 Very crisp and refreshing but lacks flavor. Aroma shows some a little honey malt. Light bodied and with light orange and pineapple notes, and a bit of honey in the flavor. Looks nice though, pouring deep golden with a big frothy white head.
