Our brewers wanted to make a beer that went down easy after a day out on the water. Big Wave Golden Ale is just the ticket. Big Wave is a lighter bodied golden ale with a tropical hop aroma and flavor a smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The use of caramel malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and our special blend of hops provides bright quenching finish. 10.3

Bottle in Honolulu. Solid take on the genre, let down by a slightly chemical first hit, but a pretty solid fruity palate with a lasting sweetness in the finish.

Bottle courtesy of Mum and Keith, cheers you two!, purchased from Whitby a beer shop I believe. I consumed this at home Wednesday 22nd March 2017, another non beer night when Im naughtily drinking beer. Golden in colour, hazy with a white head, fruity but another rather drab beer. A bit thin in the mouth, touch of soapy hops, nice soft mouthfeel. Ok. A6 A4 T5 P3 Ov10 2.8

Ultra refined clear gold color with a fluffy white head of foam. Sweet corn and cereal base with a light honey touch. Doesnt quite transcend me to the islands.

355ml bottle at Stitch bar in Sydney. Pours a pale golden colour. Aroma: very mild aromas of honeycomb, pineapple and coconut. Definitely not an aromatic beer. Taste: Mild honeycomb and tropical flavours. Quite sweet for a golden ale. Not flavoursome. Just sweet. Not particularly well balanced. Watery texture. Easy to drink, but a bit uninspiring.

Quite simple and nice but packs decent aroma kick with tropical fruits, some grass. Decent maltiness, some caramel. Moderate to light sweetness, light bitterness. Nothing fancy, but serves purpose - nice thirst quencher
