COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our brewers wanted to make a beer that went down easy after a day out on the water. Big Wave Golden Ale is just the ticket. Big Wave is a lighter bodied golden ale with a tropical hop aroma and flavor – a smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The use of caramel malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and our special blend of hops provides bright quenching finish. 10.3°

Malts: Pale (Premium 2-Row), Caramel

Clear golden color with tiny head. Aroma of fruit and hops. Taste is light bitter, refreshing. Low carbonation, light body. A bit watery to me. Ok.

Very good beer overall. This actually is a niche beer to me-- at 4.4%ABV and around 132 calories, I consider this a light beer but it is indeed a little heavier than the typical light beers like Bud Light, Coors Light, Bud Select, etc. Most importantly, it is light BUT actually has good flavor, much better than the aforementioned brands. Very light but tasty hops come in at the end of the mouthful, and is nicely carbonated and refreshing. This might be the best alternative to Macro Brew light beers out on the market.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2017 A bit watery. Easy to drink, not unpleasant, but not much to really write home about. A tad flavourless

Schaum: fein, nicht viel aber immer was da. Farbe: leicht trübes Gold Nase: frisch, hopfig zitrone geapefruit, naja ein bisschen was von wc Stein ist dabei. Aber sehr lecker, relat komplex, was Fruchtiges, hm, Aprikose? Ist dabei. Geschmack: erst recht mild, weniger spritzig aber angenehm herb. Getreidig im Nachgeschmack, mist, Flasche leer. Lecker, aber zu wenig!

Bottle @ home. Pours a clear golden color. Balanced aroma of citrus, flowers, apricots white bread and some honey. Taste is light, crisp and medium bitter with an overall very short duration and not so impressive complexity. With flavors of citrus, apricots, white bread.
