From a draft pour at the brewpub in Kailua Kona, Big Island of Hawaii. Came in the glass black with a light tan head. Nose of roasted malts with chocolate and coffee. Medium body and a smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is big on chocolate and the coffee follows into a nice bitterness. Very nice. slowrunner77 (12594) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 21, 2014
"very roasted, almost like a dry stout. unfortunately we had this as a taster right before Pipeline (w/Kona coffee)...that one is so much richer that this one seemed boring in comparison. solid effort, though, if it were to stand on it’s own."

Poured from tap to glass at the Kailua brewery. Opaque black hue with creamy light brown head that lingered nicely. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, cereal, roasted malt. Mouthfeel is nice with a medium body and soft creamy carbonation. Taste is dry malt sweetness throughout with an astringent bitter following that rounds out in the finish. Overall this is a pretty nice Porter. Steasy66 (1158) - Minnesota, USA - MAR 6, 2014
