COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-bodied, American-Style I.P.A. that is bronze in color, Castaway IPA is "dry hopped" (aged with liberal amounts of whole hop flowers after fermentation) for assertive hop flavor and aroma. The bitterness is balanced by the malty body of the beer.

Nice mellow IPA. No over the top or complex flavors, but a pleasant beer to drink. Sweet to start, then a soft hoppy bitter.

12-oz bottle at Kama’aina Grindz. Pours a cloudy medium amber with a thin white head that goes away. Moderate grapefruit and pine nose. Creamy medium body with moderate carb. Light caramel with a moderate bite from grapefruit and pine on the palate. Tasty and pleasant with food but not very interesting.

355ml bottle. Pale amber color. Straight from bottle in the bed. Citrus, fruity, herbal, bit dirty and malty in aroma. Citrus, malty, herbal, grapefruit in taste. Citrusy, grapefruit peel in aftertaste. Short crisp carbonation. Drinkable brew.

cervmagpt (808) - PORTUGAL - APR 21, 2017
Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 21A). Bottle 35.5 cl - Batch 10:25 3 (BBF 15.06.17). AROMA: medium oxidized hop aroma with notes of dried grass, followed by a low malty-sweet background. APPEARANCE: gold color and clear. medium white head with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with initial oxidized hops (dried grass), followed by an almost neutral malt background. medium-high bitterness with an almost dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium carbonation. no astringency. OVERALL: it was a good (but worthless) shot at a fresh american IPA (its hard to live in Europe).

Pours clear and gold with a thin film of white head. Aroma is pungent pine with crisp citrus. Flavor is crisp and refreshing with light orange citrus with hints of apples and doughy yeast. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

En ganska anonym IPA - Inga tydliga fel, men inget extra heller. Kul med Hawaii så klart!

3.5
Juggernaut84 (276) - Berlin, Berlin, GERMANY - APR 6, 2017

Grumpelmies (318) - North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - APR 1, 2017
Bottle. Golden orange. Decent head. Aroma of mangos, citrus fruits and pine. Taste is mangos, honey and malts. Bitter finish. Nice IPA, would have been probably much better if served fresh. Goes well with homemade Sushi.
