COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-bodied, American-Style I.P.A. that is bronze in color, Castaway IPA is "dry hopped" (aged with liberal amounts of whole hop flowers after fermentation) for assertive hop flavor and aroma. The bitterness is balanced by the malty body of the beer.

Lightly citrusy hop aroma with hints of pine. Rather laid back in both hop and malt departments. Somewhat thin. Has a bitter medium length fade that is not bolstered properly by the malt. Hop water. Not very good.

Bottle, 35,5 cl No distinctive aroma, some citrus as expected from an IPA. Bright and with moderate foam that fades quickly. Good fresh taste and it has some palete(nothing extra). Tested in a rainy Sweden. Could see that this could be a winner after a day on the beach. Overall just above average. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

No. Freaking. Way. How on earth (oceans included) did they manage to put Hawaii in a bottle? Take a sip and it will save you a trip there. Magic, genie in a bottle kinda good. Really. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle in a pint glass. Pours a hazy light amber with little head. Floral notes. The hops are mostly bitter citrus and grapefruit but there's a slight pine and lime to not at the beginning. Interesting and refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

mild and smooth with light bitter hops. would be nice to have a bit of something more distinctive, but overall not bad. considering it is a Hawaiian beer I would expect something more floral, but maybe I am stereotyping

Bottle. It poured a yellow color with a white head. The aroma was of malts, citrus and hops. The taste was similar to the aroma with more malts, citrus, hops, pine and florals. Tasty.
