COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-bodied, American-Style I.P.A. that is bronze in color, Castaway IPA is "dry hopped" (aged with liberal amounts of whole hop flowers after fermentation) for assertive hop flavor and aroma. The bitterness is balanced by the malty body of the beer.

Citrus. Mango-pineapple’ish tropical fruit up front. Strong grapefruit at the end. Cereal. Nice all around IPA, but indistinguishable from any other down the fairway IPA.

Bontus (802) - Flanders, BELGIUM - JAN 12, 2017
Bottle from Albert Heijn supermarket. Pours yellow golden, clear, filtered. Bubbly white head. Low carbonation. Nose is floral and green hops. Aroma mostly green hops, not much malt in it. Flavor is dominant bitter, from start to after the finish. It’s a bitter blond but not really an IPA imho.

20170107 Home: 35.5 cl bottle: Beer pour slightly cloudy with a yellow color. A nice white good head, which stay on the beer. Arome is light sweet with a goos fruity-hop bitter from somewhat grapefruit and peach. Also liight malty and somewhat grassy. The taste is malty and start slight sweet, but than a fruity hop bitterness is coming up. Grapefruit, peach and somewhat tropical fruit. The body is for this beer good (>medium). The beer ends bitter-dry. Good balance.

LazyPyro (1588) - Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 4, 2017
355ml bottle. Pours clear golden colour with a thick frothy off-white head. Aroma: hoppy, citrus, pine, malt. Taste: as the aroma, citrus and pine and a bit of malt, bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad but could be a lot better, fairly mild in flavour compared to most American IPAs.

33 cl bottle from Hawaii. Pours golden with little head. Mild Fruity malty aroma with bland taste. Not much happening.

Too light kick for my IPA standards, but as refreshing beer works awesome. Decent maltiness, fresh grapefruit, peachy hops, light pine fresh grass. Light sweetness with moderate to light bitterness Like it

Pours clear gold, resilient, foamy beige head, sticky lace. Aroma of grapefruit, grain. Bitter on the tongue, medium bodied, citrus, bread, pine resin. Pretty dry finish with a little pepper. Not bad. Nothing special.

clear golden with a white head. Aroma has slight grapefruit, pine, citrus fruits. Dry on the tongue with a bitter finish. Nothing wrong with this, no flaws but incredibly normal.
