COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-bodied, American-Style I.P.A. that is bronze in color, Castaway IPA is "dry hopped" (aged with liberal amounts of whole hop flowers after fermentation) for assertive hop flavor and aroma. The bitterness is balanced by the malty body of the beer.

Draught at 7 mile grill, marathon. Poured fine with a lacing head. Malty, piney, sweet finish. Nothing wrong with this beauty. Quenched my thirst twice over!

355ml bottle @ Tavastia. Sweetish, piney and resinous IPA with some caramely maltiness and grassy hops. Doesn’t feel very fresh.

33cl bottle at home. Pours a slight hazy orange colour with a decent frothy white head. Strong aroma of hops, pineapple, citrus, slight malt, slight sourness. Taste is medium sweet, soft bitter but the bitterness kicks in really hard in the finish. Notes of hops, pine, pineapple, orange, malt. Texture is oily, medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

BenOver (314) - SLOVENIA - OCT 11, 2016
Pours lager like golden, with minimum and quickly diminsihing top. Aroma is not pungent, very still... Sour notes of hops, some fruity notes in the background. Full taste upfront, giving immidiately way to strong bitter taste which overwhelms every other beer aspects. The bitternes isn’t prolonged, pleasant dry aftertaste.

Dredd (940) - Bentleigh, AUSTRALIA - OCT 10, 2016
Nice light tropical ipa. Not sure if it strictly classifies for ipa, but will let it slide. Tropical aroma, pineapple and citrus. Pour is very light gold, flavor is mostly light malts, balanced with a good floral/grassy hop finish. Brewed well for the climate.

Bottle @ home with Muts51. Smells very hoppy and fruity with a slight hint of grass. Looks clear and golden with little bit of carbonation, very small white head. Taste is mostly just citrus and hoppy with a grassy aftertaste. Overall, solid but a bit too bitter for my taste.

Gouden kleur, de kraag zakt snel weg. Ruikt lekker citrusfruitig, moutig. Smaakt idem, fris, niet heel veel body maar goed te drinken.
