Bottle. Pours a amber color. Somewhat hoppy smell. Tastes bitter (hoppy) not much in malt flavor. Not bad. tomciccateri (1035) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - SEP 26, 2008
12-ounce brown bottle in Albuqueruqe - pours a deep amber with a white head. Mild hoppy aroma. Medium body with solid carbonation. Pronounced hoppy bitterness and flavor at the expense of the malt character. ( OKAY, a bit caramely) Clean finish. A nice American pale ale without going over the top on hop presence. Very drinkable. nuplastikk (6479) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 22, 2008
12oz bottle. Tan-amber color, highly filtered. Mild malty aroma. Bland malt profile, with a slight hop balance. Mellow and easy drinking. Nothing special. buzzoven (376) - JAPAN - SEP 18, 2008
Bready, yeasty smell from the tip of the glass. Not much of an exciting or tantalizing head or colour to speak of. Taste was slightly piney/grassy...very slight grapefruit hints in the mouthfeel. Finish was truly weird...it was practically invisible except for this slight tingle on the tongue. This one left me confused. nearbeer (5636) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 17, 2008
12 oz. bottled May 23, 08. Clear copper with a small head that lasts. Grain, toasted nut and honey aromas. Flavors of bitter nut, cocoa and a sour citrus twang as well. Light medium body is mostly smooth and roasty-dry.

Aroma is a very pleasant citrus scent. Orangish-Amber color, almost no head...bottle is beautiful. Good flavor for a pale ale which is not my favorite type of beer...not too overpowering like Sierra Nevada. Starts bitter, gets a little sweet...leaves a weird sensation on the tounge. Like most pale ales...its not too easy on the palate...but this is better than most...however it did leave a weird aftertaste in my throat. Overall I liked it...it’s one of the better pale ales that I’ve had, probably a bit better than the Sam Adams but not as good as Sweetwater 420. As a bottle collector, I loved the bottle. Beer pours attractive copper color with a modestly retained off white head. Aroma is lightly citrus hops with just a bit of cereal maltiness. Flavor follows the aroma with an initial hoppy begining then just a bit of malty sweetness. Pretty tasty. llcooldave (1226) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - SEP 6, 2008
I’ve been wanting to try this beer since I started seeing it on the shelf. Cloudy coppery orange in appearance. Thick soapy head. Slight aroma of herbs, flowers and fresh cut grass. Crisp malty flavor that finishes with a slight roasted taste on the tounge. Overall it’s easy drinking but still retains some complexity. I’m hooked. mekjubaksa (17) - Houston, Texas, USA - SEP 2, 2008
Bottle. Refreshing light golden brown ale. Not sure why people call it boring as we found it to have a malty character that neither distracts nor is overbearing. Much better cold than room-temp. Another very good summer time evening beer. thooper41 (556) - BELGIUM - AUG 31, 2008
12oz bottle: pours amber brown with white head, aroma malty and not much else flavor is also pretty simple barley and a little bit of hops and pretty watered down.
