Much better than the wheat beer on tap that we sampled at the same time. THis one had vibrant fruit flavors, but also some nice yeasty sour notes and a very smooth finish. Bright and complex. I like this one a lot. Daytonbeer (730) - Ohio, USA - DEC 11, 2010
Pours a nice golden hazy color. Aroma is pleasant with citrus, banana, and some spice. Taste is similar with lots of tingling on the tongue. Maybe alittle thin. Overall, surprisingly good. decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - NOV 3, 2010
Cloudy gold pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma of clove and banana. Banana, wheat, and clove flavor. A tad thin and fizzy but a nice hefe 17thfloor (2443) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 25, 2010
On tap at the Marina Pub. Pours a rich hazy glowing orange with a small white head. Lightly sweet nutty meaty yeasty light phenols, well balanced overall. Flavor is meaty and crisp, light citrus aftertaste, light balanced banana, more of a phenolic rubber taste though, flavors are light and balanced. Fizzy carbonation, light bodied, well attenuated, overall clean, dry. danielcurtis81 (1519) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 17, 2010
Served on tap at the Marina Brewpub. The appearance is a hazy yellow with a lacing dirty white head. The flavors and aromas are plesently full of banana, baking spice, strong yeast flavors. Mouth is creamy and dying. A well above average Hefe.

Banana aroma upfront. Banana flavor even stronger. Very smooth on the palette. jb (3270) - Rochester, New York, USA - FEB 13, 2010
A very nice true to style beer. Hazy, thick head, bright yellow, served with lemon at the brewery in Kona. Heavy banana and clove nose. Nice palate, sharp and sweet and sour alternating. More bananas too. puzzl (3258) - New York, New York, USA - JAN 23, 2010
Tap at the brewpub. Nice spicy nose, allspice & banana bread. Thick body, light carbonation, with a well balanced yeastiness and short, bristly finish. A nice, if very basic hefe. Still can’t hold a candle to the wonderfully spicy German examples, but among the better of the American interpretations I’ve had. Does not do much to showcase the wheat. When I finally found the brewery(I forgot my my map and the address back at the room) I had a nice glass of Hefe. Slightly hazy golden body, white head with good lacing, banana/clove nose. Flavor of spices, banana, and wheat. Very Enjoyable. drowland (8827) - Georgia, USA - AUG 21, 2009
Had on tap after a tour of the place while vacationing in Hawaii. This was one of their better beers for sure.
