Draft at Koko Marina. Cloudy yellow orange color, bright white head. Aroma of banana bubblegum. Taste is lightly sour citrus and banana. Decent. Oakes (18543) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 17, 2014
Really muddy, looks like crap. It looked at least this bad at the brewery and I’s been avoiding it, but avoiding Kona beer in the islands is impossible so here we go. Aroma is very yeasty with some banana and light phenols. Tart, lightly phenolic and way too yeasty...the best examples don’t taste like old socks. Barely drinkable. hopdog (12953) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 10, 2007
On tap at the Kona Brew Pub on Oahu. Poured a deeper and cloudy golden yellow color with a smaller sized head. Aromas of bananas, cloves, and pepper. Tastes of the same but on the weaker and somewhat watery side. Light citrus in there as well. slowrunner77 (12594) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 16, 2014
pretty good for a hefe...it’s got a good dose of the banana/clove things going on, but not too much. light and refreshing with a minimal hop presence. not bad." rosenbergh (11755) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 20, 2015
Draught at the Kona Brewing Co, Hawaii Kai, HI.
Hazy orange color with a small to mid-size white head.
Yeast, some fruity sweetness, banana and some wheat in the aroma.
The flavor is yeast, mild bitterness, wheat and malt. Decent.

Had on tap after a tour of the place while vacationing in Hawaii. This was one of their better beers for sure. jonas (7993) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - SEP 26, 2013
Tap at the brewery, served very cold with 1/8 of a lemon. Murky yellow, no head. Hardly any aroma. Lightbodied, fizzy. Light spicy wheat base, light citric notes, quick finish. I would be surprised if they used a German yeast in this one. I see that I disagree with previous raters, there seems to be some variability
