A decent red, but nothing special. Pours a nice clear Amber. Smells a bit of nuts. Taste is basic red, a little nutty with a bit of hops in the finish. Had on tap at the taproom on Oahu. Travlr (24656) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - DEC 26, 2015

Suitably red pour with a thin off-white head. Lots of caramel with some fruit and biscuit. Not my favorite Kona. beertholomeus (1813) - California, USA - MAY 24, 2015

Red draft pour with a thin ring of white head. At Keoki's in Kauai. Malty earthy aroma. Taste is burnt flowers, some fruit, and malty. Pretty good for the style. smroush (279) - Michigan, USA - FEB 27, 2015
Basically your Irish-style red. Malty without much hop presence. Pretty simple hop dominated beer. Not bad,but not too great either.
