Longboard Island Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

Medium hazy yellow. Has typical lager qualities but add some sweetness and nice balance of hops. Pleasant and very drinkable. Offered at one of my favorite restaurants and goes well with their menu.

Draught. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, light bread), lightly hoppy (flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately bitter. Finish is moderately bitter, slightly husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.

crisp taste up front, not much on the palate, cloudy yellow. ...............

Nice crisp lager. Good thick yellow color. Really a lot of apple that comes through on this one. A fine example of a craft lager. What a lager should be, a little character to it.

On tap GABF '02: Cloudy yellow color, light grain and flower aroma, very dry mouthfeel. Starts a little sweet ends a little bitter. One of the better lagers that I've had.

Medium gold color, small head. Mildly hopped and malted. Good flavor. Full Mouthfeel. Some malt sweetness. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter, mostly malty.

Cloudy apricot beer, tall white webby head, OK label, twist off cap, bits floating around in the beer. (This was an aged bottle, so I don't know if those are usually in there or not.) Malty nose. Highly acidic, mild hoppiing, as though it has lemon juice in it. Malty aroma. Pleasant and off the beaten path.

Brewed on the Big Island, where I'm told you can ski the mountain, then tan on the black lava-sand beach below, all in the same day. An oddly cloudy lager. Noticeable hops. It's not really all that refreshing, but after a day skiing and tanning, who knows?
