Ok 12 oz bottle poured into a chilled pint glass on a hot Oregon night (its still 70 at 9 pm)
Quite a good looking lager, nice deep golden colour with a fair sized pure white head..leaves nice lacing.
The aroma is average though just regular run of the mill hops..weakish.
Nice solid taste however,,sweet malts and a small hop bitterness then residual honeyish sweetness.
Quite smooth for a lager on the tongue.
This is quite drinkable a good lager not great though

Pours a clear yellow with a thick white head. Mild aroma of grape. Sweet initial taste. Mildly fruity flavor and light hops. Finishes clean and crisp. Not bad. DerBiermeister (586) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - MAR 28, 2004
This is an overrated Hawaiian brew. If you're in Hawai'i, check out the Big Aloha Brewery at Sam Choy's Seafood Restaurant for better local brews. This particular lager had very little head, very little head-remaining time [Schaumdauerzeit], below average lagericity, with apparent skunkiness. This seems to be a surfer's brew, you know, for surfers. Piss golden with a piss poor head. BückDich (5477) - McCall, Idaho, USA - MAR 24, 2004
On tap at Old Chicago in Boise. Pale yellow color, moderate head and light lacing. The aroma is grainy and spicy with some really crisp hops. The flavor is initially brutally sweet and unbalanced, light acidic finish with a watery tail. This was ok for a lager, not too bad but the flavor needs some work to balance. leitrim65 (402) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 21, 2004
On tap at Coho Grill this evening. This one has a lot of the same characteristics as you get in a miller, bud, etc. However just a notch better. Golden color with no head. Surprisingly mild herbacious nose. Light - Medium bodied. With cereal and malt flavors. Nothing amazing but I wouldn't mind one on a hot day.

Had on tap at Cactus Moon. Nice color. Little to no head. Noticed some hoppiness in the flavor. Definately better than the average megaswill. Would drink this again. Uriel (146) - San Jose, California, USA - MAR 8, 2004
This is a pretty decent lager. It's slightly darker than the typical pilsner, but only slightly. Not much aroma, and the head dissipates very quickly, but not quickly enough to prevent me getting a nose full of foam when I sniffed it. A wash of malt, immediately followed by a wash of hop flavor, then it's gone. Refreshing, but not stick to ya. michaeltrego (101) - Amherst, New Hampshire, USA - FEB 24, 2004
Better than expected! Aroma and appearance were spot on. A nice head from the draft, a little on the blonde side. Quenching. drismyhero (815) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - JAN 10, 2004
My sister brought a couple bottles of this home with her from Hawaii, I can't help but wish she'd have brought a nice stout instead. Nice copper color with no head whatsoever. There seems to be something strange permeating the aroma and flavor, although I don't think it's skunked at all. A touch soapy, bitter, but predominantly just a wierd taste that is difficult both to describe and ignore. Actually a bit more flavorful than most "thirst quenching" lagers, but still nothing to write home about. ericnixon (745) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 2, 2004
Nice malty nose over a gold color. It had a certain dry-ness to it. Kinda weak and not overly impressive.
