Yellow but not a lot of hed. Carbonation seems fairly thick running through the glass. Aroma is slightly earthy or of grass. The taste is grassy too. This beer came in a brown bottle and is barely a month old, but I’m wondering if it is skunked just a bit. It has an off taste I don’t care for and I’m just not sure if it’s the beer or the handling of the beer.

GKillian (525) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - MAR 25, 2010
Poured hazy yellow with thin white head. Not much aroma discerned, but taste was excellent; well balanced. Medium-bodied. Overall a very nice lager from the Big Island. Beats the stuff from south of the border.

Hopper (827) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - MAR 15, 2010
A very clear golden beer with minimal head. Aroma is malty & slightly floral. The taste is very smooth light malty. Nothing bad tasting but not much to taste. Left good lacing on the glass.

Bottle. Bet this goes up a bit if you are on the beach in Hawaii. Pours a straw color with a small head. Head recedes but bubbles are constant. Nose is stale malt notes of straw and grass. Palate is dry and sticky. Flavor is corn and straw with some faint grass notes.

[Bottle] Pours a clear dark golden color with good lacing. Aroma of light malts and grassy hops. Bread, biscuit and cereal in the taste. A good amount of hops provides better than expected balance. Decent mouthfeel. An enjoyable beer to drink.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a thin white head, over a clear, pale yellow (SRM 3) body.....nose is light malts, with mild cereal....taste is light biscuit, bit of cereal, light hop bitterness to finish....mouth feel is medium, carbonation also. A beer, nothing much else can be said, except that there are many worse. BJCP 5/2/10/3/5
