1.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Too sweet, slightly skunky. I’m drinking one now that sat in the fridge until I ran out of everything else.
You know, it’s bad enough that Foster’s ("Australian for beer") is really made in Canada. But here we have a so-called "Island Lager" with a Hawaiian-sounding brewery name (Kona Brewing Co.), people on the label surfing, and so on. But it’s actually made in freaking New Hampshire. Is there a lot of surfing in New Hampshire? Is New Hampshire an island? The beer is almost as bad as their marketing strategy.
den skulle være lagret i 5 uger meget koldt, og det har så givet en øl der har en let krydret humlet aroma, og en meget maltet smag, uden den klassiske pilsner bitterhed. BeerNinjaUK (466) - Wiltshire, ENGLAND - JUL 13, 2017
Bottle from Marks and Spencer. Aroma heavy with banana. Very smooth and well-rounded overall. Jpmercer (109) - shakopee, Minnesota, USA - JUL 11, 2017
Bottle: Filtered Longboard Island Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

12 ounce bottle. Firm frothy white head. Mild grainy nose has fruity notes. More grain, more light fruit and light grassy hops. Probably tastes better if you are drinking in Hawaii. Just average here in New Jersey. RhetoricalAns (939) - Red Deer, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 2, 2017
Draft. Pale straw pour, clear. Small fizzy white head, poor retention. Sweet corn aroma, taste follows with some light grassy hops in the finish. That’s an American lager all right. Pass.

Bottle. Clear orange color with white head. Aroma - Hops, corn, malt. Taste - Lightly bitter, fruity, grainy, earthy. Hopper8 (177) - Holland, Michigan, USA - JUN 30, 2017
100% crushable and if I’m sitting at a bonfire with some good friends, I’m happy to drink this, but that’s about the extent of it. Very little flavor other than a corn syrupy type taste. No aroma to find. It’s just simple with enough body not to be annoyingly like water. Thomas_W1 (841) - Rastatt, GERMANY - JUN 29, 2017

I use the Beer Buddy app to discover, catalog and rate beers.
I used to love this app BEFORE the latest update that forces you to login and even more annoying is you are now forced to write a MINIMUM 75 CHARACTER COMMENT in order to save and upload a beer rating. In most cases I simply don't have 75 characters of comments, thus this canned response. My apologies to all beer lovers.

Pours yellow with light white head. Aroma is dry, hay, malts, some dried animal skin, hairy, some citrus. Taste is bitter, citrus, hay, some fruits, malts, skinny, fresh. Nice beer!
