I recently tried this beer on a trip to the APS/JPS conference on Kona. This is a decent lager. Not much head of course, but offering a little bit of hops and bitterness in the flavor. I find it interesting to try a Hawaiian beer, but its not quite enough to win me over coming from California...

UPDATED: JAN 16, 2017 Bottle poured into a lager glass. Pale gold color and a foamy white head. Aroma is pale malt and citrus. Taste is lightly sweet and malty with a tiny bit of grassy hops. Light body and medium carbonation. It?s...a pale lager. Drinkable and slightly better than a crappy light lager.

Pours pale yellow with small fluffy white head. Aroma: malty, sweetish, a bit pale fruits or berries, dusty. Taste: malty, watery, a bit metallic - have heard good things about it, but where..... Thin body. Dry hay finish with hints of bitterness. Pointless but drinkable.

355ml bottle. Clear pale yellow color. Small size, chunky white head, stays. Sweet, plastic, malty, some corn, paper and some distant hops in aroma. Sweet, malty, paper, some citrus in taste. Sweet malts, distant hops and papery in aftertaste. Slick mouthfeel. Over carbonated. Drinkable brew, but bland and emotionless.

Smooth light corny maltiness, somewhat wheat, light citrus grassy hops. Light sweetness with light bitterness. Not bad, but to really enjoy it I would need to be in Hawaii :D

12 oz. bottle, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of grassy notes upfront, followed by corn and straw. Flavour is similar, with light grass and straw. Clean enough but uninspiring. Meh.
