On tap at Cronies Bar and Grill. Pours clear yellow/gold with thin white head. Aroma of bready malts, kind of corny. Taste is straight pale lager, a faint corny sweetness with a light bitterness. Thinnish mouthfeel with lingering bready malt finish. Nothing great here.

Draught served in a chilled mug. Clear straw with no head. Aroma and flavor are a good balance of sweet malt and bitter hops. Nothing spectacular about this one but it makes a decent session brew.

Bottle, pours slightly hazy golden with white head. Nose has honey and grain husk. Flavors are rather sweet grain husk, earth, pepper, and honey. Thin body. Not a bad substitute for bmc, pretty refreshing but a tad too sweet and lacks good hoppage.

this is a good beer. only have had it out of the bottle but was impressed that I picked it up a second time and same consistency. had a decent spiciness to it and not a big lager guy.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2011 12 oz. bottle in a shaker. Have tried before, but tried again yesterday. Liked it a little better. Golden pour with one finger head. Sweet and hoppy. Nothing too memorable about it, but its a pretty solid lager. Would probably taste great sitting on the beach in Hawaii.

THOUGHTS: The bottle might have been getting a little old because there were a couple floaters, but it still tasted good. Im not a lager fan, but this was pretty nice. A little fruity for a lager. Seemed a bit like a Klsch to me. Either way it was a nice, refreshing beer. TECHNICAL: Bottle. poured a pale yellow with nice carbonation and an average to large, white head that mostly diminished and left fair lacing. It also had small particles of a light density in the body. The aroma had light light bread, sour malt and cracker; light to moderate grassy hops; light yeast and lemon and underlying tropical fruit. The initial flavor was light to somewhat sweet, slightly acidic and slightly bitter; while the finish was somewhat sweet, light to moderately sour and light bitter with a short to average duration. There was pale malt, sour lemon, cracker, tropical fruit, a little dough, yeast, grassy and citric hops, and bitter lemon rind. The light body was a little watery and then dry with a bit of fizzy carbonation and a lightly astringent and sort of chalky or dry finish.

It pours extremely clear straw colored with a white head. The aroma and flavors are soft floral hop notes that are pleasant. The body is light on top of a light bready lagered beer.

Far more than expected for style. A lot of malt flavor remains and is surprising from a lager...esp. at such a low ABV. Pretty mellow, nothing to exciting.

Draft. A hazy pale yellow beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt as well as lighter notes of straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and lighter notes of citrus, leading to a bitter finish. Boring - a bit like a macro lager.

On tap at Foxwoods food & wine festival although I remember drinking this on my honeymoon in Hawaii 5 years ago so please mark that down. Pours gold and tastes of corn, hay, yeast, and light spice. Its clean and crisp and after all the wine and fine foods was very refreshing.
